Salem; August 19th; 20:22 EDT
The camouflaged BioShip hovers on the right side of a road beside an open field. On the opposite side of the road, there stood a large old theater and a red brick building with lights on.
"Nothings there." Superboy says.
"Take us down." Aqualad says as Miss Martian fully lands the BioShip allowing Kid Flash to run around the area. Nightcrawler walks out looking around when he feels something or someone watching them. Turning around he was meet with... nothing.
"Nothing." Wally says as he comes back. "This isn't simple camouflage." Wally remarks. Everyone turns to look at Kid Flash. "What do you think, adaptive micro-optoelectronics combined with phase shifting?" Artemis asks hoping to catch Kid Flash on his lies.
"Absolutely..." Kid Flash begins only for Miss Martian to appear in his line of sight. "Not. Cearly mystic powers are at work here." He says hoping to impress Miss Martian. Artemis glares at him, as Aquald and Superboy look at him skeptically. Nightcrawler turned to look at the rundown theater as if something was there unseen to their naked eye.
"Hey, Abra Kadabra, are you using adaptive micro-optoelectronics combined with phase shifting?" The Witch Boy asks. "Yes." Abra says causing the boy to chuckle. His cat then meows. "Teekl what's wrong?" The Witch Boy asks as his cat begins to squirm. Looking at the direction Teekl was hissing at he freezes as his eyes meet glowing yellow eyes that seem to be staring straight into his soul. "Well who are you." The Witch Boy whispers as he refuses to take his eyes off the Blue Male even after he looks away from him to his team.
"Nightcrawler do you see something?" Aqualad asks as he looks to see Kai staring at the Old Theater. "Huh?" Nightcrawler asks as his attention was brought back to the team. "Is there something there?" Aqualad asks again starting to get worried about his teammate. "Yes- I mean no. I-I. I don't know I just feel something is there watching us. Something that can't be seen by the naked eye." Nightcrawler explains. Aqualad nods in understanding before something in his brain seem to click.
Aqualad looks at the old key in his hand, reading the handle it says 'Insert'. "A test of Fate." He repeats as he walks in between Artemis and Superboy. "Stand behind me." He commands as he moves to stand three steps ahead of the Team.
Aqualad raises the key, it disappears and sounds as it clicks into a lock. Turning his hand, as soon it happens a massive stone tower comes into sight. Artemis and Wally look at the building in shock as Superboy and Miss Martian look at it calmly. Nightcrawler smiles a bit at the sight of the stone tower.
Aqualad pushes the wooden door inwards while walking in, the Team following right behind him. As soon as they all enter the tower the door slams shut and disappears, trapping them in the Stone Tower.
