Nightcrawler

Infiltrator Pt.2

Nightcrawler was crouched in a tree blended into the shadows as he was on the lookout with Superboy, and Miss Martian. 

"Miss Martian, link us up. We don't want the Shadows intercepting our comms." Aqualad orders. 

"Everyone online?" Miss Martian questions through the now-formed mind link.  From the Tree Nightcrawler messages his temples still not use to the weird tingling from the mind link  though he is not the only one. "Ohhh. This is weird." Artemis says through the mind link as it's her first time ever experiencing this. 

"And distracting."  Dr. Roquette's voice says as she continues typing her code. "Coding a distributive algorithm virus on a kiddie computer with less RAM that a wristwatch is hard enough. Now I have to hear teen-think in my skull." She complains. Nightcrawler rolls his eyes before he see's a little movement gaining his attention. 

Moving to where he saw the movement all he saw was a squirrel eating. "Lady do you always complain when someone tries to help you?" Kid Flash says through the mind link. 

"Pott, Kettle. Have you met?" Artemis says causing Kid Flash to get mad. " Hey Hey. I do not need attitude from the newbie who drove  Red Arrow off the Team. "Kid Flash yells. 

"Red Arrow was never on the team though?" Nightcrawler says as he stands and looks at the window from the tree. "That is so not on me." Artemis argues. 

"Fate of the world at Stake!" Roquette reminds as she could not focus with all the arguing going on. 

"She Started it!" Kid Flash says childishly. 

"Now I know why he's called Kid Flash." Nightcrawler thought. "I can hear you!" Kid Flash yells as Robin cackles at his best friends embarrassment. "How about I just help Suberboy, Miss Martian, and Nightcrawler patrol the perimeter." Artemis offers as she walks out the room. 

"Good Idea." Aqualad agrees also annoyed by their arguing. 

"You might want to cut her some slack. It was her arrow that saved your bitt against Amazo." Robin says as he finished cackling. 

"What? No! That was Speddy's.. I mean Red Arrow's .Arrow. Right?" Kid Flash asks with wide eyes. 

"Red Arrows, arrows are red hence the name, the arrow that saved you was green. Your not colorblind right?" Nightcrawler asks causing Kid Flash to groan and Robin to cackle once more. 

"Well still not giving her the satisfaction." He decides. "You know I can still hear you!" Artemis yells causing Kid Flash to groan once more. 

"I couldn't get the Justice League." Roquette grumbles. "The virus won't be of much use if we cannot fins the weapon." Aqualad says. "Can you track it?" He asks 

"My utility fog is not a weapon." She corrects. "It's science, brilliant science, and of course I can track it, but I'd have to go online." She says turning back towards her computer. "Might as well rent a billboard with this addresses  and 'assassinate me' written in neon." She says

"We will protect you." Aqualad says placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Tracking the Fog Now." She says as she enters the key.  A digital globe appears  on the screen the target moving across before coming to a stop. Zooming in to show a image of a plane sitting on a runway. 

Superboy walks around the perimeter coming to a stop when he hears a noise. Following the sound he leaps on to the roof startling the two girls. He walks away from them still looking from the sound. He looks up to see Nightcrawler perched on top a tree his tail swishing back and forth. 

"Mmmm... Those boys." Artemis says. Superboy turns towards her to see she's looking between him and Nightcrawler. Superb looked towards Nightcrawler to see if he would do anything, only to see him completely ignore the comment though his tail sis stop swishing back and forth. 

"They can hear you. We can all hear you." Miss Martian says, her eyes widen in shock. "Oh, I know." Artemis says as she continues to stare. 

"Miss Martian. Dr. Roquette has located the rog. reconfigure the BioShip so that Robin, Superboy and Nightcrawler can purse." Aqualad says. 

"Ready." Miss Martian says as the Bioship lands in the small field. Superboy and Robin run out towards the Bioship as Nightcrawler teleports inside more then ready to get away from the awkward environment. 

Once in the Bioship and disconnected from the mind link Nightcrawler lets out a sigh. "That was uh, awkward huh?" Robin says with a frown as he sits in the main seat. Suberboy following after and sitting on the other side of the ship a deep frown on his face. 

"Ja, let's just go." Nightcrawler says turning away from Robin as the Bioship takes off towards where the Fog is heading. 

The camouflaged Bioship flies over the coastline. "We're over Philadelphia." Robin announces as he look down at his Hologlove. "We've located the Shadow's next target, STAR labs." Robin says as they fly over it. The three hero's get there just in time to see the building crumble to the ground. 

"We're too late. It's completely destroyed." Robin says solemnly with a hint of anger. Both Superboy and Nightcrawler stare at the destruction  with wide eyes having never seen anything like it. "The Fog decimated it. This is bad. STAR Labs is cutting edge science, and now their secrets are in the hand of the enemy. What's our next move." Robin says to Aqualad. Robin gets the next coordinates and the Bioship begins it's route. 

"The next target's a WyaneTech Facility." Robin says in shocked as the camouflaged Bioship slows outside the building. Both Nightcrawler and Superboy look over at Robin. "In theory.. it's a system software could be used to hack the-" Robin stops himself before he reveals information that would surely get him in trouble with Batman.

"The what?" Superboy questions him. "Wh-what matters is WayneTech operates a 24-hour workforce. We'll never evacuate the building in time." Robin says. 

"I could teleport people out and get as many people as I can." Nightcrawler offers. "No, that won't work you will tier yourself out fast and your still not 100% recovered." Robin says looking Nightcrawler in the eyes. "So what do we do?"

"We wait for Dr. Roquette."
