Frisk and Chara approached Toriel's house, a wooden cottage. When they reached the front porch, Chara knocked on the door and waited.

"You think she's mad?" Frisk asked nervously.

"Maybe," Chara replied, "but either way, I'm with 'ya."

Just then, the door swung open, revealing Toriel. She didn't look mad, but rather anxious. She gestured for Frisk and Chara to enter, and they did so. As the three sat at the table, Toriel cleared her throat.

"So, my children," she said, "first and foremost, I'd like to apologize for the other day. I was just shocked. I always thought of you two as siblings."

"It's okay," Frisk said, "it was weird for us at first too, right Chara?"

"Huh? I just kissed you and you blushed a lot," Chara said blankly.

"Well - uh-" Frisk stammered.

Toriel chuckled, "it's alright. I only needed some time to think. But now, my children, I want you to know that I fully support you. I hope you can forgive me."

"Don't sweat it," Chara smiled, "just PLEASE don't tell anyone else yet."

"No, of course not! They may ship you two. Ugh!" Toriel shook her head.

"They - wouldn't really do that, would they?" Frisk exclaimed.

"Ehh... better safe than sorry," Chara shrugged.

"Now, Toriel, I was wondering... can we just go somewhere real quick?" Chara asked.

"Well- I guess that's alright. But be back by dark!"

"Of course."

With that, Chara lead Frisk outside, and they began to walk, the evening air rustling their hair.

"Where are we going?" Friska asked.

"Somewhere very quiet," Chara replied, "you'll know it when you see it."

Eventually, the two reached the huge, gaping entrance to the underground, where the monsters once lived. Since the monsters reached the surface and the barrier was broken, staircases had been installed for easy access. However, nobody ever really went down there anymore.

"Should be quiet down here, eh?" Chara grinned.

Frisk and Chara walked through Snowdin, frost crunching under their shoes. Memories flooded Frisk's mind as they remembered their adventure here long ago. The path was surrounded by snow-capped pine trees.

"So - was this a good idea?" Chara asked.

"Yeah!" Frisk said, "I like this place! It really is silent."

"I'm glad. So, uh, how've you been?" Chara turned the corner as they spoke.

"I'm just glad that everything's okay," Frisk smiled with relief.

"Me too. It's weird not talking to you."

"I know! I hated that."

"I understand that you just can't get enough of Chara," Chara smirked.

The two dissolved into laughter for a bit before Frisk said; "wow, I remember when we first met. I was so nervous. You - were... really pretty."

"Guilty as charged. But yeah, I can't believe that was three years ago. Who would've thought that now..."

"If you told me three years ago that we'd kiss someday... I would've-"

"Blushed a lot?"

"Yeah," Frisk blushed.

"But, Frisk, I have to ask - when did you first start to - like me?"

"As soon as I saw you."

This time Chara's face turned red, and they looked away; "woah. I-"

"Don't worry, I didn't see you blush," Frisk giggled. "Anyway, anything else new?"

"No, not really. Ummm... no, nothin'. I'm really just excited, Frisk. Excited that there's no more pressure, and that we can be free again... because without you... I go kinda crazy. I- I'm so lucky to have you, you know that?"

"I'm lucky to have you too, Chara."

The two stopped and looked at each other. Frisk wrapped their arms around Chara, and Chara did the same to Frisk. As the night began to fall, and the underground dimmed, the two leaned into each other, kissing. After a very long time, Frisk moved their lips off of Chara's.

"I love you, Chara," they whispered.

"I love you too. So much."

With that, their lips locked again, and they kissed into the night.
