I have a story to tell, about how things don't go well

Listen closely, wish upon the well

Do what you want, wont change a thing

I'm so sick and tired of trying

~

Met a circus, ran from home and I fit right in

Found a jester, entwined with flowers, never gonna happen again

Grew close, not together, there was a space in between

Never told me, so minute, could have fooled me

Burn it down... Burn it down...

To the ground, to the ground...

The difference is still there, my great mistake

all that time, all that affection, it was fake

you cut me off and moved on

I tried but I couldn't hold on, I couldn't hold on,

It's so P A I N F U L remembering . . .

~

voice like silk, blossoms everywhere

So precious, petals shriveled bare

You're turning it on to me,

Painting me as the enemy

I drank the pain until I couldn't any more!

You stole my sanity, I'll never be the same

And cursed every flower I could name

Warning signs everywhere, like I'd ever care

You left me all alone, you were my only home

Dragon fruit is better than blossoms anyway.

~

I burnt the circus down until there was nothing but smoke

The clowns took your side, and it really made me choke

Had to leave and as I was walking down the street

I picked up a rose and then I full-lit had to flee

Burnt it to the ground, I had nothing left...

Out of gasoline, only one more chance left...

Remembered the snap dragon that layed at my feet

Compared to the roses thorns that make me bleed

First flower I killed, but I'm a better florist now

It doesn't matter, I've got a rose. I wont kill it, don't ask me how

I built a new circus, built it from the ground

But the blossoms voice is s c r e a m i n g in my ear...

Bad news, the rose left me too, eh, dragon fruit is prettier, too.

~

Voice like silk, blossoms everywhere

So precious, petals shriveled bare

You're turning it on to me,

Painting me as the enemy

I drank the pain until I couldn't any more!

You stole my sanity, I'll never be the same

And cursed every flower I could name

Warning signs everywhere, like I'd ever care

Dragon fruit is better than blossoms anyway.

~

The clowns are doing their job for once and making fun of me

Flowers slowly shriveling so that you could shine and gleam

The rose threw a fit over it, so instead, I decided to give her my all

It wasn't enough, and I had no choice but to watch it again crash and fall....

~

Voice like silk, blossoms everywhere

So precious, petals shriveled bare

You're turning it on to me,

Painting me as the enemy

I drank the pain until I couldn't any more!

You stole my sanity, I'll never be the same

And cursed every flower I could name

Warning signs everywhere, like I'd ever care

Dragon fruit is better than blossoms anyway.

And so you have to go, and she will stay.

Goodbye, my old Circus Jester.
