"Hey man, throw me that wrench." Clutch said from under the car he was working on. I tossed it to him before sitting down and taking a break. "Your girl going to the club tonight?"

I smiled at him calling her that again. "She's not my girl. Yet."

"Yeah, yeah but is she going?" He asked, coming out from under the car and wiping the grease off his hands.

"I don't know, I haven't talked to her."

He nodded behind me. "Well looks like now's your chance." I turned and saw her walking that black dog down the sidewalk. I whistled across the shop's parking lot and she turned to see me. She smiled before walking over to us.

"You know that is very classy, catcalling girls." She joked.

"Hey, it worked, didn't it?" She laughed, letting go of her dog's leash who was trying to sniff around the shop. He walked to my boots sniffing me and letting out a heavy huff.

"Not going to bite me this time?" I asked, looking down at him. He ignored me walking to Clutch. "So," I looked back at her. "Are you coming to the club tonight?"

"The club?"

"Yeah,"

"I'm not sure the rest of the Angels would take kindly to that. The bar was already pushing it."

I rolled my eyes. "If you go with me, it's fine."

She raised an eyebrow. "Is that your way of asking me out?"

I smiled. "Did it work?"

She seemed to think about it. "Yes," She finally said, smiling at me.

"We are about to go to lunch," Clutch stood from behind me and we both looked at him. "You, uh, you wanna come?" He invited her.

She looked shocked. "Um sure, thanks."

After seeing me kiss her at the bar, Clutch finally confronted me and said he would try to be nicer to her if I really liked her.

We all three and the dog walked down the street for a place to eat. There was a Mexican place with outside seating so we stopped there so her dog didn't have to be tied up outside. When we sat down her dog sat beside her on the ground, his head standing taller than the table.

"What's his name?" Clutch asked, nodding towards the ginormous animal.

"Zeus," She answered, rubbing his large head.

"He's fucking massive."

"He's a cane corso." She sounded proud of him as he leaned into the ear scratches he was getting.

"So, Lennox, um tell me about yourself." Clutch started, I just shook my head. He was so awkward sometimes but it meant a lot that he was trying.

"I mean there's not much to tell, I moved back home, realized I loved the town but hated my family. I got a place close by and that's about it."

"You're a pretty damn good fighter, who trained you?"

"Ex-special forces friend started training me when I was a kid. Yeah... so that basically sums up my childhood."

"Why do you hate your family?" Clutch blurted out.

"Dude!"

"What?" He shrugged.

Lennox laughed. "Straight- forward, I like it. It's a long story though, basically my dad is fucking crazy."

Clutch scoffed. "No shit, so is your brother."
