As soon as Akshara stepped inside, the entire villa lit up with a dazzling glow. Party poppers burst from all sides, filling the air with a shower of colorful confetti. The Goenka Villa looked straight out of a fairy tale, adorned with shimmering lights, balloons, and delicate floral arrangements. Everyone gathered around, their faces beaming with joy, and in unison, they shouted, "Happy Birthday, Akshu!"
Akshara froze in her tracks, completely stunned. Her eyes widened, and she turned to Kairav, her voice laced with disbelief. "Wait... Is today my birthday?"
The room fell silent for a moment as everyone exchanged amused glances. Kairav stepped forward, smirking. "Seriously, Akshu? How can someone forget their own birthday?"
Akshara scratched her head sheepishly. "Well... I've been so busy lately, it slipped my mind."
Manish chuckled, shaking his head. "It's a good thing we didn't forget, or you'd have spent your special day without even realizing it."
"Special day?" Akshara looked around at the elaborate decorations, her heart melting at the effort everyone had put in. "You all planned all this... for me?"
"Of course, we did!" Suhasini said, stepping forward to hug her. "You deserve every bit of happiness, Akshara."
Abhir tugged at her hand, his excitement bubbling over. "Mumma, see the cake! It's huuuge! And there are flowers, and lights, and presents!"
Akshara smiled warmly, kneeling to hug him. "Did you help with all this, champ?"
Abhir nodded proudly. "Papa said we have to make it the best birthday ever!"
Akshara's eyes shifted to Abhimanyu, who was standing a little away, watching her with an affectionate smile. Their gazes met, and for a moment, the world seemed to blur around them. "You... planned all this?" she asked softly.
Abhimanyu walked closer, shrugging nonchalantly. "I might have contributed a little. But the real credit goes to everyone here."
Arshia chimed in, smirking. "Don't let him fool you, Akshara. He was the one running around, making sure every detail was perfect."
Akshara felt a lump form in her throat as gratitude washed over her. She turned back to the group, her voice trembling. "I... I don't even know what to say. Thank you, everyone. This means so much to me."
Kairav grinned. "You can start by cutting the cake, birthday girl. Everyone's waiting!"
Abhir grabbed her hand, pulling her toward the beautifully decorated table where a three-tiered cake stood, adorned with delicate sugar flowers and candles. "Come on, Mumma! Make a wish!"
Akshara closed her eyes, her heart filled with warmth and happiness. She made her wish and blew out the candles, the room erupting in cheers and applause.
As she cut the cake, Abhir insisted on feeding her the first bite. "Here, Mumma! A big piece for you!" he said, holding up a slice with his tiny hands.
Akshara laughed, taking a bite before offering a piece to him. "And a big piece for my little champ!"
The celebration continued with music, dancing, and laughter. Everyone seemed determined to make the night unforgettable. Akshara felt overwhelmed, not just by the grand gestures but by the love and effort behind them.
Later, as she stood by the balcony, gazing at the glittering lights of the city, Abhimanyu joined her, holding two glasses of juice. "You okay?" he asked gently.
