Akshara's POV
It feels surreal how far I've come. Kaira Melodies, my dream project, has soared to new heights, and I'm proud to say that Kaira Sparkles, my jewelry company, is now one of the most sought-after brands. And to think, it all started with a small idea. My partnership with Tina Gems and Designs, Kairav bhaiya's company, has been a turning point in my journey. Life has been so fast-paced lately, especially with my growing responsibilities. I manage three major ventures now: Kaira Sparkles, Akshara Dance Academy, and Kaira Melodies, all while being a singer, businesswoman, and, somehow, a mom to Ayansh, Anaya, and Abhir. I could never have done all this without the support of my loved ones, especially Abhimanyu.
And today, it feels even more surreal because I'm about to be honored with the Best CEO of the Year Award. The most excited people for me right now are my little ones, Ayansh and Anaya, and of course, Abhir. But no one is more excited than Abhimanyu. They've been gossiping all day about the ceremony, waiting for me to shine.
Right now, I'm getting ready in front of the mirror, adjusting my outfit and my hair, making sure everything is perfect. But just as I'm about to finish, I feel a familiar presence behind me.
Before I can turn, I feel strong arms wrapping around me from behind. I smile softly before looking up into the mirror and meeting Abhimanyu's reflection. He pulls me closer, and his warm breath against my ear sends a pleasant shiver down my spine.
Abhimanyu: "You're going to rock this stage tonight, Akshu. You already are the best."
His voice is filled with admiration, and the way he holds me makes my heart swell. I close my eyes for a moment, just enjoying the comfort of his presence.
Akshara: "I don't know about the best, but I'll try to live up to it."
He gently turns me around in his arms, now facing him. His hands rest on my shoulders, and he looks at me with such intensity, it almost takes my breath away.
Abhimanyu: "You don't need to try, Akshu. You've already proven yourself. In everything you do. And I'm so proud of you."
I look into his eyes, finding a deep love and pride reflected in them. He leans down slightly, his lips brushing against my forehead in a tender kiss. The moment is so intimate, so real, and I can feel the love between us grow even stronger.
Akshara: "Thank you, Abhi. I couldn't have done any of this without you by my side."
He smiles, his fingers gently caressing my cheek. His lips meet mine in a soft, lingering kiss. The world around us fades away, leaving just the two of us in this quiet moment.
Abhimanyu: "You're everything I've ever wanted, Akshu. Everything."
And in that moment, as the soft warmth of his kiss lingers, I realize that no matter what happens tonight, no award or recognition can compare to the love I've found with him.
As we reached the venue, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. I was with Abhimanyu and the kids, and it felt like a milestone moment in my life. We walked in together, and I immediately spotted my family-Bade Papa, Badi Mumma, and my brothers-sitting proudly among the crowd. I could feel their eyes on me, filled with love and pride, and I could feel my heart swell with gratitude.
The ceremony was about to begin, and I took my seat with Abhimanyu by my side. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, and I knew this moment would be one to remember forever. As the host began announcing the awards, my name was called for the Best CEO of the Year. A wave of applause filled the room, and I couldn't help but smile. My family started hooting, cheering me on, and that warmth in their voices made everything feel so special.
I stood up, my heart racing, and walked up to the stage to accept the award. As I held the trophy in my hand, I looked out at the sea of faces in front of me-some familiar, some not-but what mattered most were the ones who had supported me throughout my journey. I grabbed the mic and began my speech.
Akshara's Speech
"Good evening, everyone. I stand here today with so much gratitude and humility, accepting this incredible honor. It's not just an award for me, but for everyone who has believed in me, even when I doubted myself."
I paused, feeling the weight of the moment.
"I owe this success to the people who raised me-the ones who taught me everything I know. My Papa and Mumma, thank you for showing me the power of resilience and integrity. And most importantly, my Mumma-you are the true definition of strength and grace. You've always been my guiding light. I could never have reached here without your sacrifices, your lessons, and your unwavering belief in me."
Tears welled up in my eyes as I spoke about her. I took a deep breath and continued.
"I also want to thank Abhimanyu, who has stood by me through thick and thin. His support, his encouragement-he is the reason I've been able to push through the hardest times and still come out smiling. His love is a constant reminder that no matter what, I'm never alone in this journey. To my family, thank you for being my backbone, for always rooting for me. This success is as much yours as it is mine."
I smiled softly at Abhimanyu, who was sitting in the crowd with the kids, his eyes filled with pride. He was my rock, my unwavering support, and this moment felt incomplete without acknowledging him.
"To everyone who believed in me-this is for you. I promise to continue working hard, not just for myself, but for all of you who've shaped me into the person I am today."
The crowd erupted in applause, and I felt the warmth of my family's love enveloping me. As I looked at Abhimanyu, I couldn't help but feel grateful for every step that had brought me to this point. He smiled back at me, his eyes reflecting the same emotions that filled my heart.
As I returned to my seat, Abhimanyu walked up to me, his proud smile making my heart race. He leaned in and whispered, "I'm so proud of you, Akshu."
I smiled back, feeling the weight of his words and the depth of our bond. "Thank you for being my constant support, Abhi."
He gently squeezed my hand, and I leaned my head on his shoulder, feeling content in that moment.
Later, after the ceremony had ended, I found myself standing alone, looking at a photo frame on the side table in the quiet corner of the room. It was a picture of Papa and Mumma, my parents-my pillars. They had left this world too soon, but their presence in my life had always been undeniable.
I touched the frame gently, running my fingers over their smiling faces. "Mumma, Papa," I whispered, "I did it. I hope you're proud of me. I wish you were here to see this."
I closed my eyes for a moment, letting their memories wash over me. Papa's stern yet loving advice and Mumma's warmth and selflessness-they had shaped my life in ways I would never be able to express fully.
"I know you both are watching over me, guiding me," I continued softly, a tear slipping down my cheek. "I couldn't have come this far without your strength. I miss you, but I carry you with me every day."
As I stood there, my emotions swirling, I could almost feel their presence beside me. It was as though Kartik was nodding approvingly, and Naira was wrapping me in her embrace. I took a deep breath, feeling their love and energy around me.
"And Mumma," I added, wiping my tear, "I promise you, I'll always make you proud. Thank you for teaching me that love is the greatest strength."
I stood there for a while, lost in my thoughts, knowing that as long as I carried their love in my heart, they would always be a part of me.
