Catnap follows the prototype. He calls the prototype his "god". He was told by the prototype to basically "kill all" or something like that. So he did. He killed them. Even his own friends...
Who is Catnap?
Catnap, a purple anthropormorphic feline, has necklace with a yellow crescent moon attached to it, a "scent" of Lavender, and a particular gas that he can produce called "Poppy Gas" or also known as the "red gas" that puts people to sleep, is a very "calm" cat. He seems to enjoy watching his friends sleep, or seems to just enjoy sleep(ing) in general...
How did he die?
Catnap died near the end of chapter 3 of Poppy Playtime because of the prototype. But how did he really die? He died when the player seemed to have electrocuted him with a green "power" hand attached to a grabpack the player wears while playing the game. (What's a grabpack? Find out by looking at the wiki of "Poppy playtime" and find the grabpack section! [or just search it up or play the game; that'd work, too.]) He struggled to get up, squirming and screeching, as well as dragging/pulling himself up(or at least trying to). After a few seconds(or minutes, idk) of that, the prototype's hand reaches out to him from the ceiling. Catnap attempts to pull himself up, and reaches out his hand(paw..?). The prototype then stabs Catnap in the mouth, and pulls him upwards.
But did he REALLY die..?
Catnap could've possibly actually lived. After the player electrocutes him, he does seem to produce some poppy gas. This could mean that the player actually imagined/dreamed the death of catnap.
