[2 weeks later. . .]
"Where are we meeting her?"
"Our old dinner hangout spot, it's near where Hanni's staying as well."
"It's still open?"
"Yeah."
According to Haerin, Hanni had been back in Korea for four days, the duo hanging out by themselves her second and third day since yesterday, the other three were busy with work and classes. It was her second to last day in Korea, and Haerin had asked Hanni if she wanted to hang out, all five of them together.
According to Haerin, Hanni seemed hesitant at first, although she agreed after asking where to meet them.
Minji flickered her eyes at her rearview camera before paying attention back to the road.
"And she's okay with hanging out with us?"
"Holy fuck Minji for the tenth time, yes she is, she said she'll come."
"Haerin."
Haerin meekly stared at Danielle, "mihan."
The ball of sunshine squeezed Minji's shoulders from behind as Minji stopped at a red light.
"Just relax Minji, okay? Everything's gonna be fine."
They had all (somehow) decided that Minji was going to drive them all, Hyein sitting in the front with her older sister while Danielle sat right behind Minji, the cat sitting next to her.
Minji left out a quick puff of air as she began to drive again, 'yup... Everything's gonna be just fine... right? It's totally not like I'm seeing my ex again after ten years, after a terrible break up, after I hurt her bad enough to the point where she wanted to move, after she literally told me to leave her alone-'
"Ah- I see a parking spot over there."
Minji snapped out of her thoughts, making sure it was safe to turn before pulling into a street parking spot.
"You're pretty good at driving, surprising with how much of an overthinker you are."
The bear's eyes flattened, "thanks a lot Haerin."
The girls watched as Minji paid for the parking spot for a couple hours, they had parked a little bit away from an alley.
Their go-to dinner spot as teenagers was a small business-owned restaurant hidden from public view, a hidden gem of sorts that just kept growing as years passed.
Haerin grabbed Minji's arm, stopping her from walking.
"Hm?"
"She mentioned you yesterday, without me bringing you up. And this was before I asked her to hang out as well."
Minji froze, "huh?"
'She... did...?'
The cat gave Minji a small smile, "look, I don't know what really happened since she never told me, but she's not mad at you anymore."
And with just that statement, Minji relaxed.
"And she said that she regrets some things that she did and said... Called herself an idiot hormonal teenager, which was very true."
Minji chuckled, Haerin smiling wider from her laugh.
The cat shrugged, letting go of Minji's arm, "so maybe you guys should talk things out, like me and Dani did."
"Yeah... Thanks, Haerin-ah."
Haerin nodded, going back to hold Danielle's hand, "I make fun of you but I'm still your friend."
