Chapter 12: Slumber Party

We were only on the mountain for about two hours before we got kicked off for being too energetic. However, that did not stop Ms. Yukisome from wanting to spread hope. She left for a moment and when she returned she told everyone to pack for a  night away. Everyone was confused because we were already away, but we did as she said. She then told us the big surprise. She had rented out two hotel rooms and we were going to have big slumber party. Everyone cheered in excitement. We then got situated in our rooms, one room for boys and another for girls. We all got cute yukatas to wear. We were all having a fun time. I was hanging out with Ibuki and Chiaki and were playing some video games.

After many rounds of trial and error, I won the entire game. Obviously Ibuki was kind of butt hurt so I cheered her up, but Chiaki just smiled in peace. I went to go sit and talk with Gundham.

"So, what do you think?" I smiled.

"It's terribly loud here. There may be too much disturbance for me to perform the protection ritual." He said with mild irritation.

"Protection ritual? How do you do that?"

"Well I have to draw sigil in the ground, then I have to meditate on who I am protecting."

"Well who are you protecting in this situation?"

"The class maybe attacked by evil spirits since they've left their cottages."

I smiled at his sweetness, but he still seemed disturbed that he couldn't perform the ritual. Then there was a commotion behind me and half the class was engaged in an all out pillow fight. I giggled at their antics and glances a little more around the room. Nidai seemed to be meditating, Mitarai was on the phone probably talking about publishing his anime, and Chiaki was showing Sonia how to play on a game-girl. However, Gundham still seemed upset so I came up with an idea.

"Hey what if you asked some animals to perform the ritual? You could give them instructions and send a messenger."

He considered it a moment and said, "Of course! Only the wisdom of a goddess could solve this issue! Thank you, my queen." I blushed a bit and he called over a dove and gave it thorough instructions.

He sent a the dove off with a wave and looked to me. I held out my hand to him and he took it. We turned around and saw the rest of the class had fallen asleep. We could've laughed but neither of us wanted to wake our classmates, so we just quietly went to our futons and drifted away into slumber.

Never letting go of each others hand.

A/N- Told you guys I'd update faster. I've started watching the Game Grumps play Danganronpa 2 to help me be more motivated so hopefully there will be more chapters by the end of the year. Happy Thanksgiving!
