Chpt 10: Bad little Battra

   Godzilla sniffed it precariously upon arrival and often growled. Everyone stood around him and Mothra, ready to jump the former if he got aggressive with Battra's egg. Gojiran blinked. She honestly couldn't believe herself at the thought she'd thrown down with an animal to save Battra's life. She'd almost felt sick at the idea if there weren't bigger fish to fry.
The Monster King growled, sensing a great amount of energy in the egg that he hadn't felt before; a possible threat, but if they trusted to bring it onto the island, surely it was safe, he thought. Stepping back, everyone eased up from the tension.
"Good. Nice to see the beast likes the monster." Gojiran said from Godzilla's response, to which the latter now walked away seeing no further point in being there. Mothra agreed with Gojiran's response, as she'd almost feared Godzilla would attack Battra's egg. If he hadn't now, when she hatched he might, but that's only if she was aggressive.
"Now, where to put this powder cake?" Anguira said, pointing out what no one had been thinking about till now, and tapped its shell.
"I'd recommend Mothram/Nursery, but at the same time I wouldn't put enough faith even in this egg not to kill them," Rozan said, staring hard and long at the end as if to look in on the infant inside.
"How 'bout me?" Miyarabi suggested, stretching before yawning "I'm warm and safe, and Battra has no grudge against me so she wouldn't immediately try to kill me. Besides, y'all always say I gotta do something 'round here." Everyone looked between each other, uncertain if leaving Battra with Miyarabi was the best idea, which insulted the latter. "Oh come on!"
"Fine," Gojiran took the egg from Mothra, and shoved it into Miyarabi's arms "And yeah, you do need to do something other than sleep 75% of the day, and that's IF we get you to train." Miyarabi rolled her eyes at Gojiran's nagging, before turning around and leaving, but waved back at them.
"Anyway, I'ma go sleep with this egg for the rest of the day, have fun," Miyarabi teased Gojiran, making the queen both smirk and huff in annoyance. Looking around, she wanted to find Godzilla, muttering "Speaking of doing something..."

Godzilla was sunbathing, when he felt something bite his tail. His eyes shot open just as pain surged through his whole body from his maimed limb, a howl of pain escaped him as he stood up, and turned sharply around to see Gojiran was the assailant. The latter lightly chewed on it a bit before popping it out of her mouth and commenting "Hmm, no wonder y'all seem to wanna bite my tail." Before she could comment further, Godzilla Spartan kicked her in the stomach, knocking the wind out of the Queen and causing her to fall back.
"Alright! Come on you behemoth!" Gojiran sprang to her feet and put up her fists, eager to train with Godzilla, who furiously charged at her with mauling intent.

Godzilla snapped at Gojiran but missed, and he was uppercutted, but he responded with a jab. The latter blocked and elbowed the former, but he hit her in the back of the head with a punch. Stumbling forward, she was surprised by his strength and knew she'd need to avoid taking more hits like that. Multiple jabs, and swipes of his claws, Gojiran evaded or blocked, and ducked a tail swing, only to be hit square in the chest by Godzilla's atomic breath. It didn't hurt, but the force caused her to fall, and she rolled to get out from below his tail as he smacked the ground. Now, it was getting interesting.
Charging forward, and bouncing on her feet, Godzilla ate Gojiran's Cobra punch, and her try at sweeping him off his feet failed from his leg musculature. The latter was hit in the jaw by the former in an uppercut before his shoulder was torn open by his claws. She winced and scratched Godzilla back across the face. She didn't have as sharp or prominent claws, but it still was enough the cut his skin. Both began pushing each other and trying to assert dominance, but when one began to overlap, the other stepped up and evened it out.

"Jeez, look at those two go," Anguira commented, Rodan and Mothra on either side of her.
"Es como si una fuerza imparable se encontrara con un objeto inamovible," Rozan muttered under her breath, seeing Gojiran and Godzilla break up their shoving, and charge their atomic breaths to fire. Both blue beams clashed evenly and swelled up into something that lightly shook the island. It was hardly noticeable to the kaiju, but everything else felt it, and the energy caused an interesting reaction.
