Chpt 11: Bigger Guns

"What the hell happened?" A shout echoed from the comms in the Gotengo from Tagaki, after having felt the earthquake of the Pacific tectonic being split open by Battra and Godzilla's clash. The pilot of the Gotengo, Douglas Gordon, rubbed the bridge of his nose, becoming irritable from Tagaki's nagging voice, and barely stifled his annoyance with his reply.
   "We don't know. We detected movement in the water from the monster and the Dark Mothra, then, an underwater eruption happened and seemingly swallowed them up."
   "Find them, Gordon," Tagaki said the way she did seem to forbode some sort of punishment if failed. A moment of silence came before a thump was heard from Gordon hitting the arm of the captain's chair, spooling everyone but the guest of the hour, Miki Saegusa.

"Everything alright general?" She asked, much softer and calmly to Gordon than Tagaki, which soothed him from being riled up by the yelling Tagaki.
"Well, the date's been delayed because the big lizard vanished from our radar," Gordon said, his voice soothing "Probably for the best, since he was just beating the crap out of Mothra's gothic counterpart."
"Is he hurt?"
"... Most likely, since that larvae floored 4 of the 5 kaiju girls on that island. The only one she didn't fry was Gojiran, but that's beside the point. Tagaki wants us to find him; to see if he can be controlled." Gordon said he was thinking uncertainly that this leviathan would be controllable by Miki, like when they tried that with Gojiran.

Thankfully when they tried with Gojiran, she just flashed them an intimidation display and bared her teeth. This monster seemed much more short-tempered, and would possibly fight with all its brain power to resist. The idea here mainlythat was not being as mentally, powerful as a human and could be influenced by Miki's psychic. Now, they couldn't even try it out as he was gone. And Tagaki wanted Gordon to find a needle in a haystack.

Everyone except Gojiran now was lying in the healing grotto, healing from the burns and muscle damage by the electricity.
"Alright you all, now, do any of you know where it is?" She asked, wanting to know just where Godzilla had gone and fucked off to, and if she'd need to find him. Everybody pondered when Anguira raised her hand slowly.
"I saw it beating Battra out into the ocean before I passed out... maybe they're out there?"
"Maybe... I'd sense Battra and that thing's energy though, it's like they fell off the face of the earth." Gojiran replied, thinking about where they'd gone, or what happened to them. She hoped Godzilla hadn't died, she was just beginning to tolerate him.

Up in the void, over the Earth, Gigan grumbled while cradling Gojiran Jr, who was sound asleep and dressed in more "appropriate" clothing for the ship. The Assassin frankly hated her misused skills to babysit, all the while behind her, Megalon was working on a specially requested upgrade from Gidrah, hauling all upgrades she'd ordered for more efficient combat. And because she wanted chainsaws. Even more defiling, her stomach saw, and almost all her spikes were removed for the safety of this infant, who was using one of her tits as a pillow and drooling on it.
"Progress on my new chest piece?" Gigan asked Megalon glumly, and got no response from the latter, as she seemed to be exhausted from working non-stop on the chest piece, which she shielded from Gigan's eye for whatever reason. But, it seemed to be in the final touches.
Patting beside her, was Megalon's response for Gigan to come over, which she did and saw the upgrade. Her eyes first went wide, then confusion as she tried to understand what she was looking at before she glanced at the tired face of Megalon, who seemed almost proud of her work before seeing Gigan's face.
"You're putting it on."
"Am not."
"Are too, and that's an order." Megalon grabbed Gigan's hair and pulled on it to bring her along, though she resisted by digging her heels into the ground. After unneeded struggles, Gigan was on the table, Jr was set aside, now awake and curiously watching, while Megalon took apart her comrade's chest. After some work, finally, she pulled it off, revealing the pulsing artificial heart and other intestines, with a metallic substance going through her body instead of blood. Then came the easier part of putting on the new chest piece, which Gigan rolled her eyes at, before scoffing in disgust when she sat up with them on.
