"Man Ellie just tell us where we're going," Ezra moaned as we walked through the streets of London. "Don't complain so loud. I don't want anyone to recognise me," I sighed and Kate looked at me in bewilderment. "Then why are we in the city?," she asked me and I sighed.

"It's a surprise," was all I said and looked around. Just a few more metres to the label. But as the others are a real pain in the arse, I couldn't take it anymore myself and started to tell them a bit. "Well, you're really annoying. I met three really nice people in Monaco and they invited me here today and you too," I laughed and looked at my friends.

She still didn't know what I meant. "Oh, and why do they all want to see us?," Jade asked me curiously, but I just headed in the direction of the label. It was a large, slightly older building, but I knew from stories that this place was all new and modern. "Have you heard the rumours," James started and everyone was hanging on his every word."There's supposed to be a new talent signed to Moonlight Records," he said. I grinned inwardly. I knew the rumours were about me, but they hadn't guessed who it was yet.
"Rumours are rumours, aren't they?," I asked the Brit, who nodded. "Let's just say the truth is better," I grinned mischievously as we stopped in front of the large building. "El, what do you mean?," Ezra asked me and I laughed. Grinning, I walked towards the large front door and opened it."Guys I don't have all day," I laughed as they stood in front of it with their mouths hanging open. Jade was the first to get herself back in and went inside. "Eliza, please tell me this is a joke," Kate said, but as I was about to reply, someone interrupted me.

"As far as I know, this isn't a joke," I heard Mason's voice and laughed. "It's just funny that the people in Monaco didn't quite realise that," I laughed and greeted the young man."Welcome to the Moonlight Records Cover Version," said a female voice and my grin widened. Melinda looked adorable in her suit. "Cover Version? But we're only talking about Eliza?," James asked, shocked. Melinda looked at me and laughed. "I haven't told them anything yet," I grinned and Mason gestured for us to follow them. "El, what's all this about?," Kate asked quietly, but I just shrugged my shoulders. "A little tour is always good. How was the journey home?," Mason asked me and I smiled.

"If it were up to me, I'd like to stay longer," I laughed. "Didn't Lando try to persuade you to stay after all?," Jade asked me. "Yes, but I had to tell a white lie. I had a family party but instead we're here," I admitted. "So you and the driver. Is there something going on between you?," Melinda asked me as we got into the lift.

"Not yet, but the way the two of them interact, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a crackle soon"' Ezra laughed and put an arm around my shoulder. "Haha, very funny. Lando and I are just friends," I quickly interjected. "Girl, he defended you to the press, always invited you round and the way he looks at you? You really are blind," Kate laughed and I sighed. How would they like it if that's exactly what we were trying to achieve?

After the tour, we were in a kind of office where we had to wait for someone. "El, can you tell us what this is all about?," James asked me and I sighed. "Melinda invited me here in Monaco. They've been following us since the beginning and wanted to get to know us, but they were too late. They saw us both coming and knew straight away that this wasn't going to end well," I told them.

"But what do we have to do with it then? You're the one who's the star," Jade sighed as the door opened. "But even a star needs a band," I heard from Edward, who had just come in through the door."Oh my God," Jade breathed softly and I tried to stifle a laugh. I'd forgotten that Jade was a huge fan of his work. "I'm sorry Mr Brown but we're really on the line right now," Ezra just said and the older man laughed.

"You really kept your word, Eliza. You really have no idea?," he asked me and I nodded. "Eliza is now back on the road, but how can she play gigs if she doesn't have a band," Edward said and my friends looked at each other in confusion."We saw your live stream in the café a few weeks ago and our producer who makes the music also happened to be there," he said, pressing a remote control. A small screen appeared on which a video was being played, our little gig in Bristol to be precise.

"Yes, but we used to play for fun, we hadn't seen each other for almost four years," was all Jade said. "Nevertheless, you haven't forgotten how to do it. You still harmonise well and have fun doing what you do. Getting bands back together is hard, but you've always stuck together and that's what counts," said Mason, who now came in with Melinda. "But what does that have to do with us? You don't know us and El still has a bad reputation?," Kate asked, looking at me apologetically.

I wasn't angry with her. She was right. "But that doesn't mean we want to throw away talented people like you," laughed Melinda, coming towards us. "The five of you belong on the screens, you belong on the stage together and we want to make that possible for you," laughed Mason and the woman took out a piece of paper. She handed it to us and I looked at it.

As I was sitting in the centre of the sofa, the others all had a good view of what was in my hand. The more I read through, the more hope I felt. Was this my chance to get back up? Was this our chance to prove ourselves again? When I reached the last page, I saw a stamp and Edward's signature. There were only five signatures left. "They want to sign us up!!!!," we shouted in confusion and looked at the three of them in shock.

Everything has been running at full speed for days now. We were at the label every day preparing for the news. We were either there for shoots, had a meeting with the team or I was in the studio recording my new songs. I gave myself a jolt and showed them to Mike the producer and he, like the drivers, thought the songs were mega.

We had band rehearsals and to get back into the swing of things and soon we would be releasing it. We were all sitting in the studio looking at the best band photos that had been taken of us. "Oh God, we're certainly not taking that!," Ezra shrieked as he looked at one of the photos. Laughing, I took it out of his hand and looked at it. That's when the slob decided to make a funny face. "Oh, I think she's really cute," laughed Kate, who got a headbutt from him. "Hey!!!," she shouted with a laugh and I continued to look at the photos. "What are you thinking about?," Jade asked me when she saw the look on my face. "The real date. It's all happening at once," I sighed. "Hey, that's what you wanted, isn't it?," James asked me, confused.

"Yes, and with you. But look. We'll be in the news in three days plus two songs of mine will be released, it's all quite a lot," I admitted. "Hey, we'll manage. We'll go the distance together," laughed Ezra, which made me laugh too.

Thoughtfully, I looked out from my balcony and into the distance. I still couldn't believe it. I would finally be able to do what I always wanted again. I knew it would be a long road ahead but I had already taken the first step. My parents knew about my happiness, but Clari and the others didn't yet.

I wanted to see their faces when I entered the paddock in Spain, as the news would be posted the night before. I was just about to lean against the railing when I got a call. I took my mobile phone out of my pocket and had to grin."What gives me the honour of you calling," I greeted the Brit with a laugh. "Have a nice evening El," Lando greeted me on the other side and I slumped down in my armchair.

"I would love to, but I can't do it here either," I said. "Really not?," the Brit asked again. "No, really not. I'm meeting up with my old band. Unfortunately, we haven't said everything yet," I said. One thing was true. My friends were all coming to the Spanish Grand Prix, I had already made sure of that. There had been a general silence between Lando and me since the evening in Monaco. Was it because of the kiss Lando gave me on the cheek? I had no idea.

"Can we meet up after the GP?," Lando asked me and I sighed. "Do you want to go into town?," I asked him. "No, I'd rather meet you outside without cameras taking pictures of us," he said. "Why is that?," I asked him, confused."I just want to spend time with you again, is that too much to ask?," I heard him sigh. "No, I'd be happy to Lando, just let me know when you want to do something. I always have time after the GP," I grinned and I could hear him exhale with relief."Right, I'll see you then?," he asked me and I said goodbye. We said goodbye to each other and I looked at my view again with a grin. This could still be something.
