*Landos Pov

The Spanish Grand Prix was in full swing. Today was Friday and the practice sessions had just finished. Now Oscar and I had a few media things to do. We were on our way to the big Formula 1 building when George, Clari and Mick approached us.
"Are you on your way to the F1 building too?," Oscar asked the drivers, who nodded eagerly. We set off together when Clari pushed me to one side. "Are you OK?," I asked her, confused. "Yes, yes, I just wanted to ask you if you've heard from El? She hasn't contacted me for days?," she asked me hopefully.

"We only wrote to each other briefly, but that was all. Maybe she's busy?," came from me. "Yes, but she usually writes to me," she said. "Hey, she'll have reasons," I said as we entered the building. Music was playing in the background and George was tapping his foot. "You and normal pop music? I can see that, George," laughed Oscar, who had spoken my thoughts out loud."Not really, but the lyrics sound familiar. It's like I've heard it before," he admitted. Now we all listened. Mick and Clari also seemed to know the lyrics, but Oscar and I were left blank.

"Maybe we just have different tastes to you," I laughed. "I don't think so. The song just came out today," Charlotte, my PR manager, laughed. "Oh really? Who sings it?," Oscar asked curiously. "You don't know? Why don't you listen more closely," she said and I did. I admitted that I recognised the voice from somewhere but I just couldn't think of it."Guys, you're my kind of guys. It feels like that voice is coming through our McLaren pit every race weekend now," she laughed when I remembered it. "El sings this song!," we drivers all shouted in unison and looked at each other in bewilderment. But we couldn't get any more out of Charlotte, who was already shooing us into the room.

Finally the interview was over and we had some free time. "El didn't even mention that she was releasing this song," Mick said to George. "I know, she showed us the lyrics but she didn't want to release it," came from the Brit. "Guys!!! Do you know the latest!!!," we suddenly heard Carmen and Lilly shout as they came running towards us. "No, what's it about?," Clari asked them. "So you don't know yet? El is on the radio all the time," laughed Lilly. "Yes, we've already heard that," I just said. "So you don't know that either," laughed Carmen, holding out her mobile phone. George took it out of her hand and held it so that we could all see something.

It was a photo of her and two other women, as well as boys. All five were posing for the camera and laughing. Behind them was a glowing purple background. "But why are El and Moonlight Records posting the picture at the same time?," Mick asked himself. I looked at their names and sure enough, Moonlight Records had posted it too.I had a warm feeling inside. I had a hunch. But why didn't I see El with the producers in Monaco?

"Let the new moonlight shine. We are pleased to announce a new talent to our Moonlight Family. Welcome Eliza Davies," George read out loud and I started to grin. So she had done it. She had managed to get a label interested in her. "Oh my God!!! El did it!!!," Clari shouted happily and the others couldn't get the grin off their faces either.

"That girl is really full of surprises," Oscar laughed as he looked at the picture again. "Then the surprise was worth it, wasn't it?," George asked me. "Yes, it was worth it," I admitted, scratching the back of my neck. "Lando, don't tell me she doesn't know it was your idea?," Carmen asked me. "No, she doesn't know yet," I sighed. "Boy, you have to tell her," Clari warned me and I nodded. I wanted to tell her, but I just hadn't got round to it yet. "So now I'll call the girl! She has some explaining to do," the redhead grumbled and dialled El's number. But it only rang.

"Maybe she's in the studio?," asked Oscar. "No, she's not. She posted a few hours ago that she was travelling by plane," Lilly smiled and I looked around nervously. What would that mean for us now? Do we have to speed up our so-called PR relationship or let it go? She had what she wanted but I didn't. Would she want to go all the way now?
