"You know I just happened to notice the book had nothing on night fury's. Is there like another book or ... a sequel maybe a a little night fury pamphlet WHOA" I heard Hiccup ask Gobber as the Nadder almost killed him really was he trying to get himslf killed I mean I would do the whole ot berk a favour but...

"Focus Hiccup!" Gobber wined dissapionted.

"Ugh like thats going to happen," I muttered to Astrid.

Snotlout muttered from behind me "I know right?"

I rolled my eyes scrunching up my nose in disgust.

"Your not even trying!" Gobber continued appalled. "Today is all about Attaaaaack. Nadders' are quick and light on their feet you need to be quicker and lighter! Your job is to be quicker-" I heard Fishlegs scream "And lighter." Gobber finished.
Okay noted.

I looked up seeing Freyr's worried but curious face and I gave her a warm smile to comfort her. She smiled and waved.

The nadder aimed it's tail shooting spines at Fishlegs who was screaming. And then said "I'm really beginning to question your teaching methods!"

I looked up to see Gobber pivking at his teeth ew. And I shook my head looking where the Nadder was.

Gobber casually said like it was an every day thing "Look for it's bling spot every dragon has one find it hide in it and strike!" Also noted.

Ruff and Tuff had found it's blind spot and hid in it Ruff breathed in letting out a "Ugh" sound. "Do you ever bathe?" She asked.

"If you don't like it then just get your own blind spot."Tuff answered.

"Why don't I give you one?" Ruff retorted. As they banged their heads together.

The nadder had heard them and shot a magnesium blast towards them. They got out the way just in time as Gobber said "Blind spot yes deaf spot not so much." He chuckled as we ran past him. Hiccup stopped as I rolled my eyes.

"So h-how would one sneak up on a night fury?"

This caught my interest. He had been going on about this night fury for days now so maybe he did shoot one down? Pfft no way.

I vaguely heard Gobber yell "Now get in there!" As I heard the nadder round the corner I signalled to Astrid letting her know as I crouched down.

"Yeah. Yeah I know but hypothetically!" Hiccup yelled.

I shushed him his head turned to me, Astrid and Snotlout and I motion for him to stay down. He went next to Snotlout who frowned at him. I looked round the corner and then wiped my head back as the nadder almost saw me. I drew a dagger ready for attack as I peered back around breathing excitedly looking at its position if   I did a ground tumble I would be in its blind spot it wouldn't see me. So I did just that Astrid following me then Snotlout I ran off when Astrid had made it safely across and she followed me not waiting for Snotlout I heard the nadder let out a screech Hiccup clearly didn't make it. And I heard him panting and running. The nadder jumped over the top as I got ready to throw a dagger at it then Snotlout shoved Astrid who was also getting ready to strike and said,"Watch out babes I'll take care of this." I grimaced at the name. As watched as he completely miss aimed and hit the wall,"The sun was in my eyes Astrid and Cas. What do you want me to do walk out the sun I can do that," as he started muttering inaudible words to himself. The nadder started chasing me and Astrid.

We came to a split point,"Astrid you go left!" I yelled.

As I ran the nadder sprinted after me knocking down the maze walls and screeching after me and some how I came to jumping on the fence tops dagger drawn I saw everyone running I had managed to put some distance between me and the nadder.

But as I jumped down from the last fence post I saw Hiccup. Oh Thor! "HICCUUUUP!" I screeched for him to move. He didn't. I landed on top of him struggling to get untangled. I heard Tuff say,"Oo love on the battle field."

Ruff said,"She could do better!" in response.

"SHUT UP!" I yelled at them.

"L L let me... why dont you?-" a clearly flustered Hiccup said.

I finally got untangled from him and stood up as I saw the nadder burst through the last remaining wall. I let out a gasp. Reaching for my dagger it wasn't it the holder I reach for the other one it wasn't there I looked down seeing one in Hiccup's shield the other was miles away near my brother. I saw Astrid running towards me worried. "CAS!" She yelled fear clearly evident as I tugged at my dagger in Hiccups shield. I eventually managed to yank off the shield from Hiccups arm still attached to my dagger and hit the nadder across the face with it making it cower away as the dagger got free from the shield the shield blasting to bits as I swung it in a boomerang fashion in my anger scaring the dragons back as well I caught the blade as it swung back towards me.

"Well done Cas!" Gobber praised.

But I held the dagger to Hiccups neck and said,"Is this some kind of a joke to you. Our parents war is about to become ours figure put which side your on!"

I walked off and Astrid grabbed my other dagger handing it to me as we walked out together.

"What a MUTTON HEAD!" I yelled.

"I know," Astrid said angrily,"You could have died!"

She was scared I could hear it in her voice she was worried that I could have died and she was angry, angry that Hiccup almost got me killed. And it was this point in time I realised how deep our connection was as friends how much I meant to her how much she meant to me. How we were unstoppable and best friends forever.

It was evening now I had spent the rest of the day cooling of looking for gem stones I had found a sapphire for Astrid and I got a hole in the middle using some tools and put some string through the hole making a necklace for her.

So as me and my siblings walked to the look out tower for dinner. Freyr was on my hip as always and we started our decent to from the bottom of the stairs yo the top of the tower when we got their we were greeted by the smell of cooked chicken and I grabbed to plates for me and Freyr taking a seat next to Astrid. Gobber waved at Freyr and she waved back. Freyr sat on my lap and Snot lout served us a portion of chicken each to which we thanked him.

Gobber started talking about the story of how he lost his arm and leg I wasn't paying much attention I had heard it so many times already I didn't have to.

But snotlout's voice brought me out of my zoning out when he said,"I swear I am so angry right now!"I raised an eyebrow in question rolling my eyes as I helped Freyr with the last of her chicken."I'll avenge your beautiful hand and your beautiful leg."He continued.

I whispered in Astrid's ear,"I don't know about beautiful but this sure is."

And she looked into my palm and saw the sapphire necklace gasping,"Oh my Thor thank you it's beautiful!" She gave me a hug slipping it onto her neck. I smiled happy that she was happy.

I heard Gobber say,"It's the wings and the tails you really want. If it cant fly it cant get away. A downed dragon is a dead dragon."

Noted that could be very useful for later. But what caught my interest was Hiccup he was deep in thought.

Hobber yawned,"Alright I'm off to bed you should be too. Tomorrow we get to the big boys!"Gobber had everyones full attention now. "Slowly but surely making our way up to the monstrous nightmare. And who will win the honour of killing it!"

I looked to Hiccups seat whilst Tuff was talking about his non-existent tattoo and I nudged Astrid gesturing to Hiccups space. He was gone. She got up and took a look at the stair case as she saw him run down. She walked back telling me. And as I walked past the armoury with Astrid and my siblings I hear some clatters and saw a   light under the door and saw Hiccup working on something.  It was then when I decided I would keep an eye on him for the next few days.
