This changed everything.

I didn't even wait until he passed a test.

"I guess I'm still your tutor."

Julia giggled, her body slamming against mine as she did.

"Do you believe in love?"

"Huh?"

"Love. Have you ever been in love?"

I shook my head, "No. I don't think anyone would even want to love me so why bother?"

Are you sure you're alright?"

"I haven't been this alright in a long time," she said which I wasn't expecting.

She could have lied—she could have told me that I was a terrible lay and she never wanted to see me again, but she didn't. She curled up in my arms after I tossed the rubber away and sighed into me.

"You didn't have to go after Sam."

"Let's not ruin it by talking about what happened."

I smiled, "Noted."

"Love is weird, sugar. I think it might be molded into our fabric, but not mine. I could care for someone deeply, but love? I just don't know. What about you?"

Julia sighed, "I don't know. I guess I've never really thought about it....even with Eric."

Eric..sabotaging his entire soul still lingered on my mind.

I didn't know why we were even discussing such a thing. There couldn't be anything between us. I didn't believe we were ready for something so deep and beautiful such as that.

"Do I have to pass the test now?"

I laughed, "Do you want to do this again?"

"I guess I'll be studying until my eyes fall out," he joked.

"Well, I like your eyes so be careful because then we'd have issues."

There was a sincere silence between us. I still felt him inside of me. He wasn't small in the least, but I didn't think we'd let our passion get the best of us.

Shifting, I whimpered slightly.

"What? What is it?"

"Just...I haven't done that in a while."

"Did I hurt you? Hurting you is the last thing,-"

He ripped the covers off and stared at the little red stains on the sheet. I didn't even realize anything like that had transpired.

"I did hurt you..I didn't mean to...I'm so damn sorry.."

I saw his eyes change. He was so remorseful, but his demons were approaching.

"Jagger, stay with me," I cupped his face, placing my forehead on his, "Don't go away. I'm fine, you're fine, we're both fine."

"Julia..."

"Jagger..."

"If I ever did fall in love with anyone, I'd want it to be you."
