Kagura Arc: Chapter 2: Aftermath

"Thank you for shopping at our store, have a great day!" The cashier spoke to Asuka and Ikaruga as they walked away with a wave. A few days have passed since the destruction of I-Island, since then, the crimson squad, as well as, The Tres Magia and Enormeeta have been staying with the Hanzo Elites, believing that they could help them find a way home, the Crimson Squad is staying there under the guise of, the more strong shinobi around, the better chance they have of surviving with the number of dangerous foes around.

An electronics store nearby had the news playing on display TV's, showing a report about the strange explosion that happened off the coast of Japan sending a tidal wave towards Okinawa, and the massive Black Pillar that descended upon Tokyo that stretched from Akihabara to the outskirts of Minato City. "No word has been given if any citizens are alive within the pillar, many officers and military personnel have entered the pillar, but they have yet to emerge." The anchorman spoke.

"Do you think Dogen is in there?" Ikaruga asked Asuka. Asuka replied, "Izuku told us that when it dropped he could feel Dogen's power, it's most likely that he is in there, but we can't act until Kiriya-sensei tells us we can move out. I hate it though, not being able to do anything while people are likely being killed." Ikaruga placed her hand on Asuka's shoulder, "Even if people have died, that just means we have to make certain that Dogen and Kenjaku pay for their crimes, no matter what it takes."

After a long walk, Asuka and Ikaruga made it back to Hanzo Academy, due to the pillar over Tokyo school wasn't in session, but the Shinobi room was being used as a base of operations, the elites weren't the only ones there though, The Crimson Squad, The Tres Magia, and Enormeeta were all waiting inside, making it a bit cramped. The only ones missing were Yagyu, Hibari, and Kaoruko Tenkawa, otherwise known as Magia Sulfur, who were in the Gym. Since Kaoruko had similar lightning abilities to Hibari, she agreed to help her with controlling it properly, Yagyu had gone with just to keep an eye on Hibari.

Utena and Sayo Minakami, or Magia Azure, were talking to each other away from the others about different things, mostly about a plan Utena had when they got back to their world as well as Sayo questioning her on the numerous things Utena had done to her and the other members of Enormeeta. "I see," Sayo spoke, "Also, you mentioned Imitatio as well, she knows who you are?" She asked and Utena nodded. "Yes, she had discovered my identity and in order for me to win I had to discover who she was." "Makes sense considering Vatz didn't even know who she was except for Berserga, who she said had gone missing for a while."

"We're back!" Asuka announced into the room. Many of them turned to look and wave, however Izuku stood up from where he was sitting and came over to hug them both. "I'm glad you two are safe." He spoke. Asuka hugged him back with one arm while Ikaruga simply patted him on the back. "How is your body holding up?" Ikaruga asked. Izuku moved himself around a bit, "I'm mostly healed, trying to hold off Freeza's blast took a lot, even if all I managed to do was slow it down." Sayo, who had heard them and had learned who Freeza was turned to them. "I'm still not entirely sure how we're supposed to stop someone like him, his power goes far beyond anything I have ever seen, and I'm sure you all feel the same."

A cacophony of silent nods went around the room as they all felt despair at the idea of someone with the power to destroy planets being out there somewhere. Izuku then spoke, "We probably don't have to fight him, our real target is Dogen, somehow he was able to pull Freeza from his dimension, same as Utena and Sayo's teams, I have a feeling that maybe beating him will force everything back to normal, and if not, I have a feeling his dimensional warping could be a result of Yoma powers, and if that's the case, then Yoichi can force his body to open portals again if I can create a link to his mind for him."
