Burst Arc: Chapter 8: The Arrival of Evil

None of us were prepared to hit the ground when it collapsed. I was disoriented and my vision was clouded by dust. "Is anyone there?" I called out. "Yomi is that you?" Mirai's voice called out. I moved towards her and found her with a number of cuts on her body. It must have been the rocks falling that got her. I kept hearing the sounds of fists clashing and grunts from across the way. It sounded like Katsuki was fighting. "Mirai can you fight?" I asked her. She gave a nod, "As long as I stay at range I should be fine." I nodded back to her and stood up as we both summoned our weapons and transformed. We have to help Katsuki.

"DIE!" I screamed at the monster before me. What the hell is this thing, it feels nothing from my strikes, I'd use my gauntlets but it might make the cave in worse and Yomi and Mirai could get hurt worse then they might be. Damn it, there has to be some way to beat it! I screamed in my head as I continued to fight the monster. I got an idea and swung around its arm as it tried to punch me so I could get above it. "Lets see how you like this one!" I yelled at it before punching its exposed brain as hard as I could. It screeched and grabbed my arm with enough force to crush it instantly. "FUCK!" I screamed and it threw me away. Someone caught me just before I hit the wall. "Katsuki, are you alright, hows your arm?" It was Yomi. "Its crushed but, I can keep fighting." I told her summoning a gauntlet to my left, unbroken, arm.

"Mirai will keep pressure from a distance since she's hurt, me and you will deal the real damage to it with our weapons." She explained her plan. "Katsuki, if your starting to hurt fall back for a bit and catch your breath Mirai and I can hold it back for however long you need." She told me with a gentle tone to her voice. I smiled a bit, "Okay, thanks Yomi." I replied to her. She gave a nod as we charged forward.

Now that they were awake and okay I didn't have to hold back anymore and let off explosion after explosion alongside Yomi who repeatedly slashed away at the monster. It was difficult to keep up with only one arm though, most of my attacks had less power behind them because of it. It went to slam its fist which gave me an idea. I pulled the pin on my gauntlet and blasted him into the air. "Yomi!" I called out as she charged at it from the wall and cut its arm off. "Yes!" Mirai cheered at our success. It was short lived though as it slowly grew back the lost appendage. "No way." I spoke shocked at its power. "How are we supposed to beat it?" Yomi wondered. I was trying my best to think of how we could win. Yomi can transform her sword to deal extra damage, Mirai has near limitless ammo and I have one arm to use explosions. If Haruka was down here we could use her puppets to overwhealm it or maybe Hikage could use a poison that Haruka more than likely has on her. Homura would probably have a better plan for this, but from the sound i hear up there the others are locked in their own battle.

"KATSUKI LOOK OUT!" Yomi and Mirai screamed as the monster had suddenly closed in. I couldn't react in time and it punched me with enough force to send me flying into the wall. My vision was going blurry and I couldn't hear the others. I hit the ground and my vision began to grow dark until I saw nothing but darkness. Am I dying, no I can't die here, I have to finish what was started, I need to settle things with Deku. Thoughts raced through my mind as I could feel myself falling further and further until it suddenly stopped.

I was standing in darkness with no sounds to fill the air. "That blow was pretty bad, you look like you need my help child." Before me was a man with gray hair and a creepy grin, his eyes were covered by darkness though. "You must be that damn voice I kept hearing, just who are you?" I demanded. He chuckled and walked closer, "If I'm being honest I've been alive for so long that I don't truly remember my real name, but I know a lot about you Katsuki Bakugo, I've kept a personal eye on you and I must say I am pleased with your growth these past few months, so much so that I will give you a hand against this Yoma that plagues you." He spoke before grabbing my head and pouring dark energy into me. "What the hell are you doing!?" I screamed trying to get his arm off me. "We will meet again when the time is right, until then keep this power as gift. Oh and as far as a name goes you may call me..."

When my eyes opened I was standing up with that dark energy flowing around me. I stepped forward towards the monster. It looked afraid of me. "I'm borrowing this." I spoke as I took Yomi's broadsword. My speed picked up and I charged at the monster as it let out a roar. I slashed its arm and kept going hitting the wall and kicking off it. I kept hitting it and the walls interchangeably to build up speed and damage. With one final kick I launched myself at the beast and held the sword over my head. "Bastard!" I screamed as it roared again, "THIS IS WHERE YOU DIE!" I yelled at it as I slammed the sword down and sliced it in two before the force of my swing sent the two halves into the walls getting crushed as the area caved in further.

The power faded and I collapsed. My breathing was ragged and I could feel pain all over my body. Yomi and Mirai rushed over keeping me from completely hitting the floor. I don't give a damn who that guy was, if I ever see him, I'll kill him. Just you wait, All for one.
