"ALRIGHT EVERYONE, ITS IMU FROM HEBIJO VS REKI FROM SENKI SHU, LETS GET THIS BATTLE GOING!" Present Mic announced. Izuku watched both of them carefully, he was being cautious of them both. That Imu girl looks a lot like Akumu, but that's not enough to draw a connection, and then you have Reki, who tried to mind control me, along with that boy on their team who might also be mind controlled, I have pay close attention to this fight and learn what I can. Izuku thought as their battle began without a word between the two. Imu closed the distance immediately and swung her staff at Reki, who used her hand to dodge around it and strike. Imu took the hit in earnest and landed a kick to Reki's stomach.
She backed away and summoned a set of eyes that fired off lasers at Imu, she twirled her staff to block them and when the attack let up she threw the spinning staff at her, imbued with electricity. Reki created a wall of eyes that blocked the staff but it didn't stop spinning. Imu weaved another sign and the staff only spun faster generating more and more electricity. Imu then circled around the wall and got close to Reki, ready to strike her. Her hit seemed to land but, Reki vanished. "What?" Imu spoke shocked. "Uh oh, looks like you missed, wanna try again?" Reki offered. Imu summoned her staff and leaped at her to strike down. Reki disappeared once more, "Stop running!" Imu yelled. "Big sister?" Imu turned around. "Murasaki, what are you doing down... What?" Before her was her little sister Murasaki, her clothes were in tatters and she was covered in blood. "Please, help me." She begged and collapsed to the floor. Imu stared at her in pure shock. "M...Mura...Murasaki?" She spoke.
In truth, what was before her was a result of Reki's power, she had placed Imu under an illusion to give herself an easy win. Imu stood motionless in the battlefield. "Imu!" Miyabi screamed, "Don't just stand there, fight! Please!" She yelled. Izuku watched as Reki slowly approached the girl. "How sad, to think the mighty students of Hebijo could be beaten by a mere illusion." Reki mocked her. This time, Izuku yelled, he gripped the edge of the balcony, "Wake up already, don't get beaten that easily!" Everyone in the arena turned to him. "I've fought your school before, more times than anyone, I know that Hebijo strives for their students to be stronger than anyone else, so don't give up, fight! Fight!"
Reki chuckled at his cheer, "You would cheer for evil shinobi, I guess I should expect no less from the current One for All holder." Suddenly, Imu's hand gripped Reki's shoulder. "What?" She spoke just before Imu grabbed Reki's head and threw her away before a scream released from her mouth. A menacing purple aura was coming off of her body. This was the bloodline trait of Imu and Murasaki's family, The Root of Calamity. The Root of Calamity is a power that allows one to enter a trance-like state, their body goes on auto-pilot and attacks whatever they were aiming at before activation. Those that master this technique have control over themselves, but for Imu, who has awakened this ability for the very first time, and at the thought of her sister being killed. Her rage was running rampant.
Lightning assaulted the arena, getting dangerously close to the audience. "Imu stop! If you attack the crowd we'll be disqualified!" Miyabi yelled but, it was a cry on deaf ears. A bolt of lightning began to fall from the sky and was heading right for the crowd, just before it landed, a coin flew through the air and attracted the lightning to it, protecting the crowd. The coin had been launched by Izuku. "She's attacking at random, she isn't just going after Reki anymore, I'm going to stop her before someone gets killed, you guys stay up here and keep the crowd safe, please." He spoke and the others agreed getting ready to defend while Izuku jumped down. Reki silently bowed out, "Well, maybe this will deal with him." She muttered and disappeared.
"Izuku!" Miyabi yelled landing next to him transformed. "Stay back, I'll stop her." She told him. "Miyabi, you're not doing this alone, our chances of subduing her are better together, me and you fought each other with enough ferocity to set the standard, I think we can understand each other well enough to work together, so please, let me help you!" He pleaded. Miyabi looked at him from the corner of her eye and looked back to Imu. "Fine, we'll do this together." She agreed. With a nod from Izuku, the two charged forward as did Imu.
The two sped up and got at her sides, Imu held out her hands and caught the blows. "Let's go Miyabi!" "Yeah!" They spoke and Izuku swung his leg around to kick at Imu, sending her flying back. Imu stood up as Izuku closed in first with One for All at 45%. She swung her staff around as he weaved through the attacks landing a barrage of hits on her. Just as she was about to strike him with a thrust, Miyabi flew in and landed a kick to her head sending her away from him. Imu easily recovered and held her ground as the two ran side by side, moving with grace alongside each other as they let off attacks one after the other. Imu defended herself as best as she could in her berserker state. She slammed her staff on the ground making a shockwave, but they thought fast and jumped over it. Izuku unleashed a Manchester Smash to hit her from above and when that connected, Miyabi blasted Imu with her black flames sending her flying away and out of the arena.
The two gave chase and jumped out of the arena with her. When Imu landed Izuku fired off a barrage of shots. "Delaware Smash: Air Force Barrage!" He yelled. Imu blocked them and saw Miyabi running along the ground to engage her up close while Izuku kept her pinned. She launched the staff at Izuku and slapped her hands on the ground, wires came out of the ground, Imu was controlling the electricity running through them. This made her stumble as the giant wires carried her upward. Imu ran up after her, but before she could get close, Izuku rushed in and slammed his leg into the wire, grabbing Miyabi's hand in the process so she wouldn't fall. He then used float to stay in the air while Imu plummeted. "Izuku, throw me!" Miyabi ordered. Izuku gave a nod and spun around with everything he had and then launched Miyabi at Imu. When she was right above her, she landed a solid punch to the top of Imu's head, cracking the ground beneath her. "WAKE UP ALREADY IMU, DID YOU REALLY FORGET THE PROMISE WE MADE?" She questioned her.
But, in that moment, Miyabi felt something inside of her mind stir, The promise we made, yes, that's right, I remember now, Imu, my mother, the yoma, everything. "Imu, my memories are back, please wake up, I'm back!" She screamed. Imu moved and grabbed her wrist before slinging her away. Izuku moved fast and caught her before she hit the ground. "You okay?" He asked Miyabi, but before she could respond, Imu was upon them, ready to strike. Izuku brought his arm up and held her attack back while protecting Miyabi. He felt Miyabi move and shifted his body to fall over while Miyabi landed a dropkick on Imu that sent her tumbling across the ground.
"Izuku, let's combine out power, and finish this in one blow!" She suggested. Izuku stood up and gave her a nod. Imu was collecting power to launch off a big blast. "Come on!" Miyabi yelled holding her hand out to him. He grabbed her hand and their fingers interlaced one another as a combination of Miyabi's black flames, and One for All's power came together. With a kick off the ground, they launched at Imu at impossible speeds. They got right before her and unleashed the combined attack right to Imu's stomach, devastating the area around them, and dealing heavy damage to Imu. This final attack, knocked her down, and she passed out. With that, Miyabi collapsed to the ground clutching her head. "It's over." She spoke breathing hard, her head feeling like it was splitting open. She went to say something to Izuku but, she too fell over and passed out. Izuku wasted no time in scooping them both up and carrying them to the medical ward in the arena. Just hang in there you two!
