Shinovi Versus Arc: Chapter 31: A Much Needed Talk

With every last fight in the event done, and Ikaruga safe in the infirmary with Hijikata watching over her, Izuku went to go grab Katsuki. Upon finding him, they both made a b-line for where Izuku could sense Aizawa at. Once they spotted him, Izuku wasted no time, "Aizawa!" He yelled. The man turned around and saw the two boys, he let out a sigh, "Here we go." He spoke to himself. Izuku approached him, ready to use blackwhip if he tried to run, he needed the truth and was ready to force it out of him. "Aizawa, I want the truth, what happened two years ago, why did you tell Kacchan I wanted nothing to do with him?" He demanded, he was fed up with Shinobi secrecy.

Aizawa let out another sigh, "Lets talk somewhere else, I don't quite trust some of the teams here." Izuku turned to Katsuki who gave a very shaky nod, his blood was boiling but was trying his best to keep it together. "Fine." The three left the arena, Izuku and Katsuki both kept their phones on in case they were chosen to fight on the third day. They sat down at a secluded bar about half a mile from the arena. "Now start talking." Katsuki demanded. Aizawa began, "The day I found you two, I alone made the choice to separate Izuku from his normal life to train him, I told you that lie in hopes you wouldn't give chase." Katsuki opened his mouth to speak but was cut off as Izuku suddenly had an outburst. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOUR DECISION HAS DONE!" He yelled shocking Katsuki.

"Aizawa, what you did, my life is hell now! When I cam back from that training, do you know how I found Katsuki? He was part of Hebijo, he turned evil! I nearly died, so many times, those girls, my friends, have been put in far greater danger then they ever should have had to face because I was around them, because One for All was around them, and incase you were wondering, I've told Asuka, and I plan to tell the rest of them! I've already told Kacchan, I'm not keeping this a secret any longer. Everything that has happened to me, my arms being destroyed, losing all of my friends, being thrown into deathmatches! I never wanted this, I didn't want to be a shinobi, but you made that choice without consideration for anyone else!" "And you accepted it." "If I had known what that would bring, I never would have said yes, I only have five years left on my life span because of this life I was forced into!"

Katsuki's anger vanished upon hearing that, and all that anger was replaced with fear and concern. "W...What?" Izuku realized what he had said in front of Katsuki. He turned to him, true fear in his eyes. "Y...You're going to die in five years? W...Why? How? What the hell happened?" His mind was racing now, and so was Izuku's. This was the secret he kept the most guarded, the only people that knew about it was Yoichi and the other users of One for All that he had met within his subconscious. "I..." Izuku was scared to speak, Aizawa was even shocked about it, he tried to figure out what could have done this, "Izuku, when you fought in New York, did you use Creation Rebirth?" He asked.

He hit the nail on the head, Izuku tensed up more, "W...What the hell is Creation Rebirth?" Katsuki questioned. "It's a forbidden technique that heals the body by accelerating the production of new cells, because of this it shortens your life span. Let me guess, you used it while firing off at 100% to beat that guy?" Aizawa asked him. Izuku slowly nodded. Katsuki took a deep breath and put his hand on Izuku's shoulder, "De... Izuku, how come you didn't tell me this before?" He asked calmly. Izuku's nerves were shot, his voice was shaky as he spoke. "I d...didn't want to worry anyone, n...no one knows about it except Star and Stripe." "Izuku, you need to stop." He told him. Izuku whipped his head to look at him, "You need to quit being a shinobi, you have three girlfriends now right? Just explain that you don't want to be a shinobi anymore and that you just want to live a normal life from now on, if they really do love you, they'll understand."

Izuku turned his head back away, "It's not that simple, you've seen what All for One can do, you've fought the Yoma he's made, I need to kill him before I run out of time, I want to leave this world with it being safe from him, so that everyone can live peacefully without the Yoma being around." Aizawa groaned, "I'm afraid I have to agree with Katsuki," "What?" "He's right, you need to think about how you'll spend the time you have left, you need to find a successor for One for All." He spoke. Katsuki questioned him, "Can he give One for All to anyone?" "Yes, it can be given to another person, but that Shinobi who loses it will lose their ability to use ninja arts." Katsuki stood up and held his hand out to Izuku. "Then that's perfect, Izuku, give me One for All and I'll take down All for One, I have a bone to pick with that bastard anyways."
