Shinovi Versus Arc: Chapter 2: The New Students

As we entered the classroom, Asuka was immediately tackled by a girl with bright orange hair wearing the school uniform, "SENPAI!" She yelled holding her tight, "Good morning!" She spoke with an innocent smile. "G...Good morning Fuma." She spoke dazed. "Who are you?" Izuku questioned. Fuma looked up and kept her smile, "Hey you're the green kid I saw on TV, your fight was awesome, my names Fuma, I'm Asuka's favorite kouhai and her biggest admirer, nice to meet you." She stuck out her hand, Izuku shook it, "Nice to meet you too, I take it you're a first year then, also would you mind letting Asuka up?" He asked. Fuma stood up and brought Asuka with her. "I don't think I've seen you around before, are you a new student?" He asked.

"Sort of, I joined a few weeks after you guys fought the Hebijo team, I think you were away from the school at the time." "That must have been when Daidoji basically kidnapped me." Izuku spoke. "Oh come on Izuku, you can't kidnap someone strong." Daidoji protested as she entered the room. "I'm pretty sure you can, also when did you get here?" "Been here the whole time, Kiriya asked me to be here for the tournament announcement, also fair warning, we got a few new students who joined because of you, so fair warning." She informed him. "Because of me." "That's correct Izuku." A new voice spoke. Izuku turned to them, it was a young girl who seemed to be the same age as Asuka, her hair was light brown and tied into a ponytail, she had bright blue eyes, and a very calming aura about her. "It's nice to finally meet you, my name is Hijikata, I just joined the other day."

Wow, she's really polite, this is hardly what I was think of when Daidoji warned me. "Nice to meet you too Hijikata, I'm guessing you saw me on TV too?" He wondered. "I did, I witnessed your battle to protect the shinobi network, and it inspired me to further myself, so now I am here, because I believe that by training alongside a hero like you, I'll be able to overcome the trauma from my past." She explained. "That's great to hear, what was happened in your past, if it's okay to ask?" "Oh well, it's a sad story, you see," "THERE YOU ARE!" A masculine voiced boomed, he had buzzed black hair and small black pupils, as well as a very enthusiastic personality. Izuku flinched from his sudden appearance, "IT'S SO GOOD TO MEET YOU IZUKU, I AM INASA YOARASHI, I HOPE WE CAN BECOME GOOD FRIENDS!" "N...Nice to meet you too Inasa."

Hijikata got upset, "Inasa how dare you, I was trying to talk to Izuku!" She reprimanded him. "Ah, apologies, but I really wanted to see him!" He apologized. "You guys are so loud." A blue-haired girl yawned as she entered the room. Her uniform was hardly put on right, the bottom was open exposing part of belly, and her tie was very loosely done. "Sorry I'm late, I just woke up." She apologized, her eyes had been closed when she walked in, she opened them slightly and looked at Izuku and smiled, "Oh, you're the guy from the news," She walked over to him, "I'm glad I got to meet you..." She tipped forward and started falling, Izuku rushed forward and caught her, "Hey, are you okay?" He asked concerned, she began snoring, she had fallen asleep. "She's asleep?" Asuka asked.

"That's Seimei for you." Izuku turned around and saw Ayame approaching them, "Her name is Seimei?" Izuku asked. Ayame gave a nod, "Yeah, just like these two she joined recently because of you, although she is constantly sleepy." She explained. "We can see that." Asuka said. "Also, she has dreams of the future when she sleeps." Seimei suddenly woke up, "Ah, Izuku," She spoke looking up at him, "I just had this dream that you were on a floating island, and you were fighting a guy in a red suit with some loud boy with spiky blonde hair." She spoke before getting up and walking to the other side of the room. "What?" Izuku questioned. "Do you think the spiky blonde boy is Kacchan?" Asuka asked. "Possibly but, a floating island?" He questioned.

In a puff of smoke Kiriya appeared, "Ah, good morning Izuku, Asuka, I see you two have met our new students." He spoke. "Yeah, they all look to be good people, I can't wait to start training with them." Asuka spoke and Izuku gave a nod, "Now then, we just need the others, and we can begin with explanations of how we'll be getting to I-Island." Izuku cocked his head, "I-Island, where is that at?" He asked. "Well," Kiriya was about to explain when the other four members of the elite squad entered, Katsuragi, the shameless blonde with an affinity for harassing her classmates, Ikaruga, the leader of the student council and the owner of Hien, a legendary katana, Yagyu, the cool and collected first year with an affinity for her best friend, and Hibari, the adorable happy-go-lucky pink haired shinobi who has gone through a sudden growth in strength recently.

"Good, then I only have to explain this once." Kiriya smiled. "Explain what, Kiriya-sensei?" Ikaruga asked. "Sit down and we will begin." They all took a seat, including Ayame, Fuma, and the three new students. "So, as you all know, Shinovi Versus begins the day after tomorrow, this will mark the 53rd Shinovi versus tournament, it's held once very five years on a floating island that is always on the move known as, I-Island!" A floating island, like what Seimei said? She couldn't actually be seeing the future though, could she? But, if that's the case, maybe I will see Kacchan at Shinovi Versus. Izuku pondered as Kiriya continued, "We'll be leaving via private jets owned and operated by the Shield Corporation, a company that generates Shinobi tools and owns I-Island, led by it's founder David Shield and his daughter Melissa, once there, you will all be given a day to explore the island before the tournament begins, however I must warn you, you will be up against hundreds of other shinobi from different schools around the world, you will need to bring out your very best in order to shine and show them what Hanzo academy can do, and do take into account that Evil shinobi will be in that mix as well as standalone groups all competing for the top spot."

"So," Katsuragi began, "We could end up in a fight against Shinobi that have flow under the radar until now, now that's got my blood pumping!" She showed her enthusiasm. "Indeed, so everyone, get what you will need, don't worry about clothes, your measurements have all been provided to the Shield corporation and clothing will be distributed to you upon arrival and request, understood?" "Yes sir!" they all spoke before getting up and grabbing their bare necessities. After thirty minutes they all returned to the Shinobi room and went underground where a rail car was waiting to transport them, they traveled far beneath the surface until coming out at a runway where a small private jet awaited them.

Once on board they all began to chat with each other, Hijikata was especially curious with Izuku. "So Izuku, I was wondering if you had any strategies for overcoming opponents in the tournament?" She asked. Inasa spoke up, "Like he needs a strategy, with that monster strength he used in New York, all his fights will end fast!" Izuku laughed, "Well, to be honest to you both, most of strategies are create din the heat of battle, you never know what your opponent will do, they could have a secret attack lying in wait that destroys your plan, so I always think on the fly, also, that strength I have takes a toll on my body, so I can only use it if I have no other options, Wolfram was just one of those times." He explained.

"Don't forget about Muscular." Yagyu interjected. She was munching on a piece of dried squid, with Hibari right next to her. "Muscular?" Hijikata questioned. "Yeah," Yagyu nodded, "After our first ever battle with Hebijo, we went to the beach to heal, Izuku and I went exploring at night when this guy showed up, he had this power that let him control his muscle fibers, neither one of us could damage him, until Izuku summoned up his power and defeated him with a single punch, however it caused him to spend a lot of time in the hospital, and he had horrible damage done to his own arms."

"Wow," Hijikata spoke, "Sounds like you've done far more than what the media shows." Asuka then perked up, "That reminds me, we never told you about what you did after you passed out." Izuku turned to her, and she explained that parts of his hair had turned red and even though he was unconscious he ran in and fought against Dabi, spewing out that energy from when he found Wolfram and Akumu. "I honestly don't remember that." He spoke. Before another word could be shared, Kiriya announced to them that the jet was about to start landing. They looked out their windows and down in the ocean was a massive island made of metal, with foliage spread across it, and cities built atop it, "Everyone, Welcome to I-Island, the grounds for Shinovi Versus."
