When the funeral ended, a group of funeral workers asked the Gessen team if Kurokage had any requests about his burial, they told them of the flower field that existed down the mountain he lived on, and they left with the casket via helicopter. The rest of that day would be free for the teams, so that those fighting could process their grief, the message was sent across the world, the games would be back on by tomorrow. Izuku, after making sure that everyone made it back okay, left on his own to go speak to Yumi. They were in room 228, quite a ways down from where team Hanzo was in the hotel. Izuku knocked on the door and the one to answer was Minori, who smiled the moment she saw Izuku and hugged him tight. "Zuku!" She yelled.
The others all turned to the door, "Izuku," Yumi spoke, "What are you doing here?" She asked. "I wanted to see how you guys were doing, we haven't had a chance to speak since, well, since what happened at the preliminary." Yumi cast her gaze elsewhere, regretting her actions that day. "Y...Yes, I guess we haven't." She took a deep breath, "Izuku, I'd like to apologize for lashing out at you and your team, I know it'll," "It's fine, I mean, I did hide the fact that Kacchan was part of Hebijo, so I guess we're even." He assured her. She let out a soft giggle, "I suppose it does." She let him in, and he sat with the six of them, "Are you guys the only Gessen student's that came?" Yozakura answered, "Yeah, we were the only ones that really qualified, being an elite at Gessen is a big feat." Shiki, upon hearing Yozakura's answer remembered something, "Oh that's right, like, I wanted to ask, how come Yagyu wasn't part of the main team for the tournament?"
"Oh, she got attacked before the preliminaries, and Inasa volunteered to be our sixth for the tournament, when she woke up, she confirmed to us that it was Senki Shu that attacked her, which makes sense, that girl Reki tried to mind control me during the prelims after I got separated from the others." They were all shocked. "Shouldn't we do something about them?" Yumi demanded. "We want to but, we don't have proof that they attacked her, we all believe Yagyu but, without proof they tried to kill her, we'd just be attacking them for no reason to other people, right now, our best chance for revenge would be to fight them in the tournament and win." Murakumo clenched her fist, "If we find ourselves against them, we'll make sure to win for your team." They all agreed with her, Izuku smiled, "Thank you, also, how have you all been feeling, I'm sure this is hard on you all?"
They all looked a bit downtrodden from that, "We've been okay," Yumi spoke, "It's just, a lot to take in, we knew that his time was coming close but, we didn't think this is when we'd lose him." Yumi held strong, though Izuku could tell she was on the verge, he moved closer to her and put his hand on hers, "Yumi," He spoke, "It's okay, if you're not okay." He assured her. She went to speak and all that came from her mouth was a gasped breath as tears began to cascade down her face. Izuku lunged forward and hugged her tight. She grabbed hold of him and cried into his shoulder. The rest of the team was shocked, they knew Yumi was hurting but they hadn't seen her shed a single tear since they were told he was gone. One by one, Yozakura, Shiki, Minori, Camie, and Murakumo all joined in and hugged Yumi, showering her with love and kindness as her tears finally flowed.
After around ten minutes, Izuku left, telling them he would be available whenever they needed him. As he exited the room, Katsuki was waiting for him outside. "K...Kacchan." Izuku stuttered. "Dek.... Izuku, please, I need answers about yesterday, what.... how did...." He could barely form words, he felt as though his bond with Izuku had finally been restored and now he was being told it would be gone soon. "Katsuki," Izuku spoke, "I'll tell you everything." He took Katsuki aside and found a secluded area where hopefully none of their friends or teams could hear them. He explained everything, his battle for the world and the cost of victory that he alone suffered, the forbidden technique that stripped him of all but five years of his life, and Katsuki, didn't speak up a single time until he was done.
