The sun was just rising over Splash Mountain as Burt Ward woke up and got out of bed.
But when he looked in the mirror, he saw that he was wearing red lipstick!
He couldn't remember putting any on the night before.
"Holy Sleeping Beauty! Why are my lips so red?" he said. "Did you do this, Brer Bear?"
But the bear was snoring in bed nearby.
Burt was utterly confused, but then the door swung open.
And in the doorway stood his dear friend, Adam West!
"Surprise, old chum!" he sang.
Burt jumped back as if he didn't expect this.
"Adam, what are you doing here?" he said. "And why did you wake me up?"
"I'm sorry, Burt; I had to do it" said Adam.
Brer Bear woke up and noticed Burt's rose red lips.
"Lipstick while you's sleepin'? Classic!" he laughed.
Adam laughed with him. "Yes. I call it the Sleeping Vampire."
Burt didn't think it was funny. "I call it an obvious Andy Griffith reference."
"You mus' be Adam West" said Brer Bear. "Is it troo ya put fake puke in Brer Burt's lunch? So he hurled on Liberace?"
"No, that story isn't true" said Adam. "I didn't use fake vomit; I used real vomit. I prefer purity when it comes to tricks."
"That was real?!" Burt gagged. "Holy air sickness bag!"
"Hey. Brer Rabbit also luvs tricks" said Brer Bear. "Can 'e be yer intern?"
"I'm afraid not" said Adam. "If I'm to have an intern, I'll only settle for Burt."
