Zynecia 'Neci' Lennox

Zynecia laid in her bed scrolling through X which she still called Twitter. She thought it was dumb Elon Musk even changed the name because no matter what it still would be twitter.
She stopped on a tweet of a girl asking if she leaves her ex or not even though he cheated on her with her best friend and had a baby with her cousin. Zynecia usually scrolled past those posts cause they always knew the answer. They just asked twitter to be heard but this time the comments were actually funny.
Zynecia was interrupted mid laugh when a notification from her group chat popped up.
Kemi: Who house can I come over?
Zynecia: I'm bored come over ho
Five minutes later Zynecia heard loud knocking at her front door. "You lucky my mama ain't here. She would've cussed both of us out." Zynecia playfully mugged us.
Zynecia mama did not play loud noises and she had a mouth on her. "My bad but you weren't answering." Kemi shrugged.
"Do you want to go around the corner and to the park? They got Black Ice out." Zynecia scrolled through some of her mutuals stories seeing them with snow cones.
Kemi didn't pass up an opportunity for a snow cone. She was lowkey addicted but Black Ice was just that good too.
"He better not leave no ice at the bottom of my cup like he did last time. That's cheating as fuck." Kemi complained. Zynecia just shrugged not really caring. She didn't eat a full snow cone anyways she just wanted one.
After getting their strawberry shortcake snow cones they walked to the park and chilled out like they always do. They went from talking about the latest talk to talking about random shit.
"Why he calling you?" Zynecia asked seeing the name on Kemi's phone. It read 'K🖤' which stood for her ex Kaleo.
Kemi and Kaleo was so on and off and the whole friend group as sick of it. Kaleo was not the best boyfriend and he was an even worse ex but Kemi stood answer the phone for him cause that's her first love plus she did what she wanted to.
The difference was Kaleo didn't show emotions but Kemi was an open book who couldn't really hide her emotions when it came to boys.
"Oop" Kemi made a face seeing that she was caught. She knew she shouldn't be talking to him so freely but she did. There was no getting through her even though he hurt her feeling every other few weeks.
Zynecia mugged and side eyed Kemi seeing her answer the phone. "Who she talking to?" Kanesha asked as she walked up on them.
"That boy" Zynecia face showed her disapproval. That was the thing about her she could not hide how she felt with her face.
"She sounds just like Kanesha talking to Z." Nyelle said making Kanesha roll her eyes. 👀 Kanesha wasn't on Zaiden as bad but she wasn't giving up on fucking him anytime soon.
"Speaking of him." Kanesha turned her phone around to show Zaiden caller id on her screen. Zynecia made a face watching her friend answer the phone. She couldn't believe her homegirls and how they were acting.
"Why you wanna play with me Neesha?" She heard Zaiden yell through the phone sounding all aggressive.
Zynecia watched as his car pull up across the street. Kanesha looked around for it and look from between the car and Zynecia after she noticed it
"Girl you know you want to go." Zynecia said. She was honestly fed up cause her friends swear they standing on business when they never were.
"But should I?" Kanesha asked. Zynecia gave her a look and said nothing. After a few more seconds of stalling Kanesha walked right to that car.
"I'm bored now." Zynecia said out loud to no one specific. As if God was answering her prayers her homeboy Xeve called. Xeve was always up to something.
"Hey Xeve." Zynecia acted fake annoyed with him. They were lowkey beefing cause Xeve was a dick even though he know he secretly adored Zynecia.
"Where is Kanesha? Why she not answering the phone?" Xeve asked checking for his best friend. Zynecia informed him of her whereabouts but not going into too much detail.
Xeve barely knew of Zaiden. Even the group chat barely knew of Zaiden. They knew he was fucking with their friend to call him Zay.
"Do yall want to go bowling?" Xeve asked Zynecia to which she accepted. She needed something, anything to do.
"Come on we going to my house." She said quietly to Kemi after she got off the phone with Xeve. Zynecia, Kemi, and Nyelle walked back to Zynecia's house but they made sure to tell Kanesha where they gone be at.

"This bitch just got dicked down." Nyelle said out loud as she stood at the door. Kanesha was cheesing as she stepped through the door.
"Okay? You didn't have to say that." Kanesha rolled her eyes but she stayed cheesing.
"Emo bitches be the freakiest." Zynecia shook her head.
They all sat down as Kanesha told them about her time with Zaiden. As a friend group they always wanted the details of the others adventures.
Right on cue as Kanesha finished up her storytime Xeve honked his horn. The girls laughed all the way to the car sharing inside jokes of Kanesha's time with her boo.
When they pulled up to the bowling alley it was jam packed. Zynecia felt that some shit was about to go down but she prayed to God that it didn't.
