Kemi laid up under Kaleo as he slept. It was late in the afternoon and they were supposed to be taking a nap but she couldn't go to sleep.
Bored of tracing his tattoos she sat up and scrolled on her phone. Kemi's eyes cut to Kaleo's phone as his notifications went off multiple times.
Kemi picked up his phone to see a random number checking for him and calling him bae and shit.
Her right mind told her to crash but she wanted to believe it was nothing and the bitch was delusional so she ignored it because Kaleo was in her bed. Then the number called Kaleo so she took his phone into the bathroom and answered it.
"Hey where is Kaleo?" the girl asked once it connected but Kemi hanged up as soon as she saw the female face. She went back into her room and threw Kaleo's phone right at him.
"What the fuck bro?!" Kaleo exclaimed looking around. He was confused but Kemi didn't give one fuck. Kaleo wasn't about to be talking to her and other bitches.
"Yeah ima need you to get the fuck out before I crash on you." She said as she got his stuff together. She was trying not yell or cry because she wasn't a weak bitch and Kaleo wasn't worth that.
"What are you on?" Kaleo was getting irritated but Kemi didn't care. "Just get out. My mama about to come home soon anyways."
"Man ight." Kaleo smacked his lips and got out. That's when Kemi broke. She was so tired of Kaleo and his bullshit but she didn't know how to leave him alone even when she knew she wouldn't be seeing no change in him anytime soon.
After crying she called her boy best friend, Hani. He knew how to make her feel better. Since Hani didn't have a car yet he pulled up with Xeve. They took her to get some to eat and ice cream.
"So what happened?" Hani asked as they laid back and watched disney movies. Hani laid on his side and Kemi laid on her side while holding his hand.
She took a deep breath before explaining the situation to him. By the end of it Hani looked mad. Kemi couldn't tell if he was irritated with her dumbass decisions or ready to kill Kaleo.
"Suck that shit up nigga. You gone be good." Hani said aggressive as he scooped her up and spooned her. Kemi laughed because he was serious but she was glad he didn't cuss her out.
"You gone be straight. You hear me?" Hani said and kissed her forehead. Kemi nodded, leaning into his touch. She knew if she didn't have anyone she had her best friend.
