Lucy and Liam' are no longer the names of the main characters. Since I thought their names didn't work well with the character. Their names are now, 'Zac and Maddi.' Sorry for the confusion. Xx

Waking up everyday in the morning at 7 am just a bit tiring after a while and boring. Why couldn't school start at 10 am, that way, everyone would actually turn up, we won't fall asleep in your classes, and it's just easier for everyone.
But no, of course not, school is there meaning to be a living hell. Under the sheets, I try to untangle my hand out of the softness of the duvet and reluctantly place my hand over the alarm which is currently beeping as if a bomb is going to go off. That dreadful sound.
Pretending I'm something from a horror movie, I let out a moan under my duvet and bash my hand on the alarm and it finally stops beeping. I peek out and see that it's 7.02. Lets get out of bed.
I shower and wash my hair with sour green apple scent. It smells so good that I wish I could eat it but of course from experiences, just because it smells good doesn't mean you should eat it. Drying myself doesn't take too long and afterwards slip on my light blue denim shorts which are ripped a little for effect and the change into my white blouse which has crochet at the bottom and finished just under my belly button which is pierced.
My mum didn't approve of me getting it but soon grew fond of it. Plus it's fun to play with whilst your bored. Looking at myself in the mirror, I sigh when I see my hair. Boring brown and straight with some light curls.
I've always wanted to dye it a drastic color. Maybe blue or purple. One day.
I apply some mascara and stare into the mirror with my green eyes. After, I apply a thin line of eye-liner and some lip balm. It's kinda freaky what one strip of eye-liner can do to self- esteem. I feel like it's appropriate enough to go to school in, not that I'm really bothered, but my best friend Vanessa would kill me if I turned up to school looking like a mess. Quickly, I slip on my trusty white converses and grab my school bag before shoving my phone in my pocket, walking down the hallway.
''ELLIOT, WAKE UP! I'M GOING TO EAT ALL THE PANCAKES!'' I grunt banging his door down.
My twin brother never wakes up early in the morning for school and relies on me to wake him up. Inhaling the smell of the sweet pancakes which my mum always makes on a Monday morning, (trying to get us to like Mondays) it makes my mouth water. I can't believe my brother can't smell the pancakes. He's a slob when it comes to mornings.
I find my brother disgusting time to time. He has a reputation of being careless and disruptive when it comes to school, a heart-breaker and absent-minded when it comes to girls but with me however, he throws his facade away and shows me his true self which many people don't really see.
