Chapter 13

*5 months later*

It's been now almost half a year since Naomi arrived at camp half-blood. During those months, her relationships with other campers had grown quite well. Mostly with Jason, Piper, and Leo, but that one was spending a lot of his time in bunker 9 working on new projects. About her mental health well...it wasn't always on good terms. She thought a lot of her mother and wasn't sure of her own self-worth. But on every time like that, she could count on her older brother, who was always trying to be there and take care of her. He knew how it's like to lose someone close, so he was trying every kind of way to get it easier for her. She found herself feeling completely safe around him and was very grateful for that. Also, Piper was helping a lot as she was quite like the mother figure that she needed. The rest of their friends she was treating like old cousins or sometimes even uncles. Usually, troubles were avoiding her as she was still young, and most of the people at camp wanted her to have peace. But there always need to be a person who wouldn't get it easy to you. That one was Andrew Yang, 13 years old son of Ares. He was jealous of how quick she was making progress by her age. She was now quite good with basic forms of fighting by swords, even sometimes trying with two in the same time. Her control of lightning also was getting quite more balanced. By those months, she also calmed down a bit from the thought of having plasma ability. When campers got to know about it, it was a little bit scary for her. As she thought that they were gonna look at her like and idiot and all. But most of them were smiling and saying kind words. Well, except Andrew, of course. He always found a way to comment on it, but whenever Jason was around, he was trying to say as little as it was possible. He knew that with him weren't jokes, so he was just waiting for a good moment to have a "talk" with her "alone."

Piper Pov:
It was a sunny day at camp, so I woke up quite early and quickly took a shower and got ready for breakfast. When I was walking towards the dining pavilion, I saw my boyfriend with his little sister (my sweetie) Naomi. I smiled at them and moved into their direction.
~ Hey, you two
~ Hi Pipes
~ Piperrrr!!!
I chuckled and kissed Jason quickly and picked Naomi up.
- How was your night, sweetheart? ~ I asked her
- Nightmare, very bad, but Jason let me sleep with him. ~ She said, wrapping her arms around my neck
- Ohh my poor baby, but well, at least you have a cool (nice, fine also ofc) big brother around you almost all the time
- Yep, he is the besttt
I chuckled, I love how she adored him from the entire start since she's here. Jason smiled at her words and hugged us both, and pecked her on cheek. In a moment, we started moving again towards pavilion. After breakfast, we took Leo and the rest of the team with us to the beach. There, Naomi was showing some tricks with lighting that Jason taught her. Meanwhile, we were sitting in front of her smiling and enjoying that she was more and more open to us every day. Around an hour later, we decided to play some volleyball. Jason was holding Naomi up to make her also part of the game. That view, no matter how many times I already saw it, always will gonna look so adorable and make me happy. Moments later, we were playing tag. And when was time for training, Jason left me with Naomi as he didn't want her to push herself too much in that age. Even though he was training since he was 2 years old, he wanted her to still be a child. So something he couldn't be, and well, she also for some time. He always makes her training twice a week to balance it. I took her over strawberries fields as I used to many times before. We were laughing, running, hugging, and messing with each other. Just a perfect girly time alone. When Jason training was comes to end, we went over him, and Naomi quickly ended in his arms. By the end of the day, we were at campfire, and singing songs.

Leo Pov :
As always, I take my marshmallow buddie to make food for our companies.
- Leoooo look that one is burned like you when you see a girl!
- Ha ha, very funny. I'm not buring myself like that
- I heard different stories
- Shit.
- The what?
- Nothing, nothing, nothing
- Is this a cool word?
- Not for your age
- Why?
- Jason would kill me if you say that
- Nahhh he might just gonna peck you with his sword
- It's not like a difference! Let's just focus on marshmallows
- Maybe you are boring
- Hey don't start with that. I'm bad boy supreme, all da ladies luv me and I'm super
- Super dumb
- Naomi!
- Bahahaha
- But seriously who told you all of it so you always need to push me down
- Everyone
- Shit. ~ I spoke quietly so she wouldn't heard that

*After campfire*

Naomi Pov:
I was just walking back towards my cabin with Jason. Today's day was very funny and curious. For some people it could be kind of normal but trust me, after running on your own for 2 years you would enjoy and appreciate it. I was now at camp for good 5 months and I was grateful how a many people helped me getting used to this. Of course there always found a one person who will want to strove you a problems. Like Andrew Yang from Ares cabin. But for now he was just starring, rolling his eyes, and speaking behind my back. I didn't cared about it so much as Jason reminds me from the entire start that there will always be a person who doesn't like you back even here, so that's normal. When we were inside our cabin, I quickly take a shower and after me Jason also. As we were now fresh before sleep time I decided to snuggled to him and talk a little.
- Jason?
- Yeah? ~ He said stroking my back
- Thank you
- For what? ~ He chuckled
- That you showed me that kind of life I am getting for a while now
- Naila was the one who brings you here through. ~ He chuckled again
- I know and I'm grateful for that but also I'm grateful for what you have done for me in those months
- It's nothing really, if I knew you earlier I would for sure take care of you sooner. But happy that you are here now. And soon half year. Sounds cool isn't it?
- Veryy cool
He chuckled. We were now talking about this kind of stuff until I fall started slowly falling asleep. I looked up at him and he gave me a nod that I can stay like that. I smiled a little, nodded and than closed my eyes. Even when I wasn't having nightmares I often sleep with him as it was making me feel safe and loved.

Hi everyone, hope you enjoyed it. Sorry for making probably a lot of by descriptions but I guess it's safer way for me. But for sure in next parts will gonna be more of dialogues. I know that this chapter might look like typical day I wrote before. But it's just to show that those kind of days are quite often. But don't worry we are getting closer and closer to some more of action. Which I probably told many times, but please, for understanding. It's my first time making something like this, so just believe me that I'm trying.
