The past few days had been unusually peaceful at the Bonten base, which was suspicious in itself. [Y/n], Ran, Rindou, and Sanzu spent most of their time huddled in corners, whispering plans about Mikey's surprise party and brainstorming how to keep it under wraps.

"I'm just saying, we need a shit ton of alcohol," Rindou said, leaning back in his chair. "We need to get wasted drunk."

Ran tapped his fingers on the table. "I agree, we'll obviously need to set up games too."

Before anyone could add more nonsense to the conversation, the door creaked open, and Kokonoi stepped inside, his sharp eyes narrowing at the scene.

"What are you guys up to?" Kokonoi asked, his tone laced with suspicion. "You haven't tried to kill each other in days. That's... not normal."

The four froze for a split second before [y/n] spoke up, her tone casual. "Oh, it's nothing, Koko. We're just bonding." She flashed her most innocent grin, which only seemed to increase Kokonoi's suspicion.

Kokonoi's gaze darted between them, clearly unconvinced. "Uh-huh." His eyes lingered on Sanzu, who was suspiciously quiet, before narrowing even further. "Right. Bonding."

"Yeah, bonding, healthy team bondin. You should try it sometime. !" [y/n] said, throwing an arm around Sanzu's shoulders. "Isn't that right, Sanzu?"

"Totally," Sanzu said, smirking. "We're practically best of friends now."

Kokonoi's cocked an eyebrow "I don't buy it."

"Aw, Koko," Ran teased, leaning back on the couch. "You're just mad you're not invited to the bonding sessions."

"Yeah," Rindou added, smirking. "You're missing out on all the fun."

"I'll pass.", Kokonoi said and without another word, he turned and walked out, muttering something about them being "a bunch of liars and 'dumbasses'."

As the door closed, Ran let out a low whistle. "That was close."

Rindou snickered. "Not sure we should've let [n/n] do the talking. Koko's not buying it."

"Oh, please," [y/n] said, waving them off. "He's too busy counting his money to care."

[Y/n]'s phone buzzed, interrupting their conversation. She glanced at the screen, and her eyes lit up as she saw the hospital's number. "Hold up, guys."

She answered the call, her voice shifting to a more professional tone. "Hello?"

"Miss [L/n]?" the doctor's voice came through the line. "I'm calling to inform you that your brother, Kenji, is ready to be discharged today."

[Y/n]'s grin widened, and she stood up abruptly, practically vibrating with excitement. "Seriously? That's great! I'll be there soon."

She hung up and turned to the others, her smile still plastered across her face.

"Who was that?" Sanzu asked, tilting his head.

"It was the hospital," [y/n] explained. "Kenji's getting discharged today."

"Let's go with you," Sanzu said eagerly, standing up.

"Not today," [y/n] said, placing a hand on his chest to stop him. "You'll meet him tomorrow I promise."

Sanzu pouted, his shoulders slumping dramatically. "But why not today?"

"Because I said so, Sanz, i still have to carry him back to his apartment and help him get settled," [y/n] said while patting his back.
