[Y/n] pushed open the door to Kenji’s room, her heart in her throat. The sight that greeted her made her freeze, her brother sitting up in bed, his eyes open for the first time in what felt like forever.

“Kenji,” she whispered with a smile, her voice trembling.

His gaze flicked to her, and a small, tired smile broke across his face. “[n/n] is that you?”

Tears welled up in her eyes as she rushed to his side, pulling him into a gentle hug. “You fucking dumbass,” she muttered, her voice breaking. “You scared the absolute fuck out of me you know.”

“I missed you too,” he snickered his voice laced with teasing.

Kenji smiled as he looked at [Y/n]'s wrist seeing her bracelet "you still wear that?"

"No fucking shit I do, why wouldn't I", [Y/n] said as she connected the half of her bracelet's magnetic charm with Kenji's.

In the next room, Izana stood frozen as he saw Shinichiro awake and smiling faintly.

"Shin,” Izana said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Shinichiro turned his head slowly, his eyes lighting up. “Izana… you’re here.”

Izana crossed the room in two quick strides, gripping his brother’s hand tightly. “I thought I lost you,” he said, his voice cracking.

“Never you’re stuck with me,” Shinichiro replied, grinning.

After spending some time catching up with Kenji and making sure he was okay, [Y/n] leaned against the edge of his hospital bed, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

“What’s with the look?” Kenji asked, raising an eyebrow.

[Y/n] smirked. “I’ve got a surprise for you.”

Kenji tilted his head, curious. “What kind of surprise?”

“Trust me, you’ll love it,” [Y/n] said, sliding her arm under his shoulder to help him up. “Now, come on. Put your arm over me so you don’t fall on your ass.”

"Ohmygod did you sneak in drugs for me", Kenji asked with stars in his eyes. "No the fuck I didn't dumbass", [Y/n] deadpanned as she smacked his head softly.

Kenji grinned, complying as he draped his arm over her shoulder. “OW now is that the way to greet your favorite brother after he just woke up", he said dramatically

[Y/n] rolled her eyes as she guided him toward the door. “Keep talking, and I’ll put you back into a coma.”

“You wouldn’t dare,” Kenji shot back, dramatically.

He wobbled slightly, but [Y/n] steadied him with ease. “Careful, Kenji. I can’t have you faceplanting and breaking your fucking face right after you just woke up.”

“Don’t worry, sis. I’ve got the legs of a stallion,” Kenji said, puffing out his chest dramatically.

"Oh brother", [Y/n] muttered with a smile as she shook her head

[Y/n] pushed open the door to Shinichiro’s room with her free hand, the sound drawing the attention of both Izana and Shinichiro.

"Hey, [N/n]-” Shinichiro started before his eyes widened at the sight of Kenji. His jaw dropped as he leaned forward in disbelief. “BRO?!”

Kenji’s face lit up, and he broke into an equally loud exclamation. “BRO?!”
