As they returned to the Veil Jumpers camp, Pirotess couldn't hold up any longer and says to Bellara "Why don't you have an aversion towards me? I mean, my kind supported Phalaris and... and High Elf like you and...", but Bellara says "It's ok.... is it? I mean... the Veil Jumpers accepts everyone who's willing to comprehend the ancient Elven Magic and Artifacts. Besides, Strife is a Dark Elf like you"

Pirotess came to realize that the conceptions she had in Lodoss and Marmo were very different from the conceptions in Thedas.

They returned to the Veil Jumpers's camp only to find it on disarray

(See gameplay video)

The Darkspawn began attacking Dalish and Veil Jumpers settlements as the Blight spreaded. Pirotess and the others told Strife and Irelin about the found artifact,  the Nadas Dirthales, but the Artifact was damaged an needed to be restored.

As an alternative for lack of a better choice, Strife and Irelin asked Pirotess, Harding, Bellara and Neve to investigate D'Meta's crossing by the edge of the lake to find out about the Veil Jumpers's disappearances.

Pirotess kept writing in her own journal:

We found the crossing with spectral mist... an ominous s silence on what it was once a bustling town. The people of the town barred gates. We didn't knew if they were raised to keep something from getting in or something to getting out.

As we proceed to enter the village. We saw Blight and tendrils from within deep. The survivors weren't themselves. They seemed to be controlled, trying to keep everyone in. During my times serving Ashram, i used to perform Hypnosis spells, but never at this degree. This was even deeper than Blood Magic.

Bellara lost a friend in this blighted mess. A young shemlen (human) girl called Adeline. She left som documents about the village's mayor being corrupt, or at least wasteful in the village's resources. None that it matters now, as this town was swallowed by the Blight.

Jahel and Milva met a grisly fate. They were taken by the blight.  In his last moments, Jahel told us that the Elven Gods did this catastrophe through a blood ritual that summoned the blight underneath this village.

As we proceed to follow up a trail of gold coins and blighted blood, we found something horrible. We found the mayor Julius and what it seemed to be an Archdemon.

The Dragon was summoned by it's dark master and flew away. We figured out that the mayor Julius sacrificed the village and the Veil Jumpers to the Gods in exchange for money. He was trapped in a Blight tendril. The mayor excused. himself saying that he was somewhat controlled by the Elven Gods, but we all knew that he allowed to be controlled.  For his transgressions, we decided to leave him there to rot. Human greed is more harmful than any blighted creature.

The people of this village deserved better.

Pirotess sense a heavy heart when she saw what the Gods could do to influence. She felt the same disgust she felt towards Barbas and thinks "They will pay"

Then Pirotess and her group decided to tell the bad news to the Veil Jumpers.

Pirotess continue her recap

When we returned to the camp, we told Strife and Irelin about their people's fate in D'Meta's Crossing.

Then out of nowhere appeared someone we didn't expected. A sorceress that seems to know a great deal about the Gods.

She was Morrigan, one of the Heroes of the Fifth Blight and beloved of the deceased Hero of Ferelden

She was Morrigan, one of the Heroes of the Fifth Blight and beloved of the deceased Hero of Ferelden. She's also known as Arcane Adviser of the Kingdom of Orlais and has another title i know very well. The Witch of the Wilds.

I've heard of people like her. In Lodoss, there was Karla, a powerful non-corporeal Witch that shifted both her inhabitant bodies the battles with ancient knowledge in order to achieve what it think it was balance.

In Thedas, i've heard about Yavana, another powerful witch that tried to manipulate the king of Ferelden and got herself killed

But they all descended from the very first one... Asha'Bellanar, otherwise known as Flemeth, The Woman of Many Years.

Anyway, Morrigan advice us to acquire Solas's dagger before the enemy do, so we are set to go to another adventure
