Night began to fall as the tanker approached Alexandria. Alyssa's eyes locked on the skyline, and immediately, she knew something was wrong. The watchtower was gone, its shattered remains visible even from a distance. One of the walls had collapsed, and the sound of walkers echoed through the air.

"No, no, no, no!" Alyssa shouted, panic gripping her as Abraham pressed the gas pedal, speeding toward the gates.

Daryl instinctively held onto her, his arm steadying her as she leaned forward, her breathing quick and shallow.

"They're all in there!" she yelled, her voice filled with desperation. "That's if they even made it back. The place is swarming with walkers!"

Abraham parked the tanker just outside the breach, skidding to a halt. The three of them wasted no time, climbing up onto the roof of the tanker to get a better view. The scene before them was chaos. Walkers filled the streets, their growls echoing through the night air.

That's when Alyssa's eyes landed on Glenn. He was cornered, frantically swinging his weapon, the horde closing in around him. Her heart sank as she heard Maggie's voice, screaming from one of the watch points, her panic and fear palpable even over the noise of the walkers.

Alyssa didn't hesitate. Her instincts kicked in, and she grabbed her gun, quickly taking aim and raining down bullets on the walkers surrounding Glenn. Abraham joined her without a second thought, his gunfire booming as he picked off walkers one by one.

Daryl stood beside them, his crossbow drawn and ready as his sharp eyes scanned the chaos for other survivors in need of help.

Alyssa's voice cut through the air as she shouted toward him, "Can you get the gate? Appreciate it, buddy!"

Glenn looked up from his position, his panic momentarily breaking into a laugh when he saw Alyssa standing strong atop the tanker. Despite the chaos, her determination was something he couldn't help but admire.

"I'll open it, Lyss! I got you!" Glenn shouted, his voice laced with both urgency and reassurance. He quickly made his way toward the main gate, dodging walkers as best he could.

Meanwhile, Sasha and Abraham climbed over the wall, making their way toward the guard tower where Maggie was trapped. The sound of gunfire and growls echoed around them as they moved, their focus locked on getting her to safety.

Daryl and Alyssa jumped back into the tanker, the engine roaring to life as Daryl gripped the wheel. Alyssa sat beside him, her jaw clenched, her eyes scanning the chaos around them. As Glenn reached the gate, he swung it open just wide enough for the tanker to drive through, holding it steady despite the threat of walkers nearby.

As soon as the tanker was inside, Glenn quickly shut the gate, securing it behind him before climbing into the truck with Daryl and Alyssa. His chest heaved, sweat dripping down his face as he caught his breath.

"We can lead some of them away, but they're scattered," Glenn said, his voice tight with exhaustion.

Daryl shook his head firmly, his hands steady on the wheel. "Nah. We get 'em all together," he said, his tone resolute. "Won't have to lead 'em away."

Alyssa leaned forward, her voice sharp as she half-shouted, "Where's my dad?"

Glenn looked at her, his face clouded with concern. "I don't know," he said honestly. "He's out there somewhere."

Daryl drove the tanker deeper into the heart of Alexandria, the streets teeming with walkers. Alyssa leaned forward in her seat, her eyes scanning through the windshield, desperately searching for any sign of Rick or Carl amidst the chaos. Her heart pounded in her chest, each passing second adding to her anxiety.
