CHAPTER SIX-NEW FEELINGS

Dinner parties were a regular but they were more talk parties and it was nice and so was hunting with them on the regular. It was 1968 Maddy started feeling much more comfortable and happy around the family and Alex feeling that sense of purpose again she had missed.

A knock echoed through Maddy's house with a letter sticking out. Maddy opened it and it read:

Maddy,
Our friendship is something i have deeply cherished since the rooftop a year ago. Throughout that time i started gaining feelings for you. I started ignoring them until it became really hard not to kiss you. Maddy you have been my bestest friend i have ever had and i should have seen this coming from the start because you are so so gorgeous. As you know Alice can predict the future and when I told her what you looked like and your name she had a vision me and you got together. I didnt believe it at first until it was believable when I realised my feelings for you. You are invited to another dinner party in two days time it starts at 7pm its a formal outfit. If you dont come then i know you dont reciprocate the feelings and if you do then we need to talk. I'm so sorry if i have ruined our friendship. You were the best thing ever to happen to me dont forget that. If this is the last time we speak then this has been the best year of my life. Do you believe in mates? Not the friendship kind the relationship kind. In our world if we find our mate its like a supernatural bond that pulls us closer. I hope your my mate Maddy.

Maddy gasped reading the letter. She rerembered all the times and started questioning her feelings for Alex but pushed them away frequently. She couldn't have a crush on Alex? Could she? Surely not she would have realised. Then Maddy remembers every time she has admired Alex and felt something other than her being a friend. Maddy knew she wanted to go to the dinner but did she have the guts? Maddy didnt even know she liked women and sat on this question and researched for hours. Then remembered every time she admired one. Bisexual. Maddy was bisexual. When she came to this conclusion from all the books she has read it felt like a weight had been lifted off her chest. She knew she wasn't straight since before the relationship with Henry but put that thought on a back burner however meeting Alex felt like she started warming up to the idea slowly.

2 days later Maddy put on a black dress that stops at her knees with thin straps and a slight v shape in the dress with black tights and heels with a deep red lipstick and her hairs natural waves draped over the front of her before leaving the house. Violet steps out her car onto the Cullen property her breath shaky. Before she could knock Alice opened the door allowing her in. The entire night Alex and Maddy exchanged glances their feeling becoming stronger and almost suffocating the tension drowning the pair until half way into the night. "We need to talk." Alex says her breath low and deep with an authoritive tone. Maddy nods signalling Alex to bring her away from the party into a distant bathroom.

The two women enter the bathroom and Maddy closes the door her back leaning on it. "Maddy' Alex cups her face while looking into her eyes 'please tell me you feel the same. I dont know how im going to live without you. I feel like im going crazy." Her voice almost becomes a whisper by the end of it and Maddy shares the same tone her voice breaking "Alex i feel the same way. I just didn't know how to tell you it." Maddy also cups Alex's face their face close to eachothers Alex leans in then so does Maddy closing their eyes carefully kissing eachother. The tension immediately left and it felt euphoric letting go of the resistance as the heat was building between the two as Alex's pulls away looking into Maddy's eyes. They close their eyes and begin again Alex's hand moves to Maddy's waist pulling her closer as another still is on her cheek and Maddy's puts her arms around Alex's neck deepening the kiss there minds raced with thousands of thoughts of eachother their body's becoming one the only thing they can focus on right now as it became more intense turning into a make out session yearning for eachother if they carried on like this they knew they wouldnt be able to stop and had to fight every nerve in their body to stop.

They both reluctantly pull away not looking away from eachothers eyes Maddy's lipstick slightly staining Alex's lips as Maddy moves her hand to wipe it away and Alex feels herself getting lost to the touch. "We need to go back.' Alex mutters and Maddy just nods feeling herself getting lost in Alex's eyes 'Im taking you to the movies tomorrow no questions." Maddy smiles "I'd like that" They kiss again this time it almost felt like a goodbye kiss not wanting to let go as they put there for heads together closing there eyes for a moment. They go back to the party like nothing happened but the others were smirking but not talking about why and Edward mainly looks slightly scared he probably read their minds.
