Chapter One: Do I remember Him?

Audrey is  thirty four years old and visiting someone in the hospital  when she heard a familiar vice from one of the other rooms.
She knocks on the door to the room and his voice calls out to come in. She enters the room
Sitting on the edge of the bed.
He says" Audrey Reilly Collins do you remember me?"
Audrey said"I remember your eyes and smile but I don't recall a name.
Also I think you used to defend me when people would bully me."
He nodded "They seemed to hate you for being creative. I was always curious about your writing and other projects."
He suddenly grabbed  Audrey 's hand.
Audrey blushed saying" W...What is it?"
She noticed he was about to pass out.
As he did she hit the nurse call button.
A nurse comes in and looks at Audrey saying
"You don't look like any of his friends who have visited him before."
Audrey  said"Nurse I'm Audrey and I went to school with him. I can't seem to recall his name
but he used to defend me from bullies."
The nurse moves a chair closer to the bed for Audrey she sits grasping his hand.
A few hours later he starts to wake up.
As this happens there is a knock on the door.
He groggily says come in.
One of his friends and some kids come in.
Audrey remembers the lunch box with cookies
In it her grandma's recipe.
His friend points to the lunch box.
Audrey blushed "Open it I made some cookies they are my grandma's recipe. I think he may have had some back in highschool."
His friend said "Man did you have some of these cookies back then?"
He nodded"Yeah I remember those cookies.
They were so good."
One of the kiddos"Uncle can we have some cookies?"
He chuckles" Sure Kiddos have some cookies.
Audrey I remember how good these always were."
His friend opens the lunch box pulling the cookies and handing them to everyone.
As he bit into the one of the cookies his eyes lit
up. He said "Audrey these are as good as always.  Have you tried any ner recipes at all?"
Audrey" Yeah there is another bin of cookies in my backpack I just have to run and get it quickly."
The man nodded .
Audrey returned with the new recipie cookies.
She quickly handed them out.
His eyes lit up again" Mmm  is that hints of orange and butterscotch?"
Audt nodded "Yep got the recipe off a bag of butterscotch chips."
He said"Damn these are so good.'
Audrey  "I know they are but don't go making yourself sick now."
His friend chuckled"Man she's got you clocked.
Yeah these are some damn good cookies."
She laughed"Everyone at work always eats them. One of the guys called them crack cookies because they are so addicting."
Audrey rolled her eyes as she said that.
Both men laughed at that comment.
One of the little ones said" Uncle what's does she mean when she says that guy called them crack cookies?"
The man shook his head saying" Kiddos  you'll know when your older."
Shortly after his friend and the kids left Audrey
sat on the edge of  the bed and stared deeply into his eyes. He pulled her into a hug as he'd done many times over the years.
He said"Audrey I know you used to watch me from that girl's apartment during my days at academy."
Audrey blushed"Yeah one time when you were up training on the ladders my former friend she changed into this  really short and slutty dress hoping you'd see her. Also she was not wearing anything under the dress.But by the time she was out of the bathroom you were already on the ground again."
He said "She sounds like she was a hungry little bitch."
Audrey laughed"She certainly was. She never deserved you.  She would only ever have been so upset when your career came between the two of you."
He laughed again saying"I think you're right. My crew rescued her a time or two her eyes always searched me hungrly."
Audrey said" Sounds like her.
She was always so needy.
Anyhow I remember the military and first responders picnic our parents used to take us to.  How my father tried to force me to meet my uncle Ben. Our fathers were childhood friends.
Thanks for always defending me when the other kids were being mean to me.
I went and his behind one of the buildings at the park you would always find me.
One time when you were Thirteen and I was Ten  you kissed me. I know we both felt a rush when you kissed me. I've always wanted to be with you. But I know there was a girl you went to academy with really liked you.  I wish I got the chance to date you. I'm sure in no uncertain terms we would have probably married.
I remember in highschool you gave me a necklace. I had a safe built just to keep it in."
He grinned pulling her into a hug and gently kissing her lips. The he said "I'd always loved you. I wanted to ask you but you're father always wanted you with one of those pricks."
Audrey blushed returning the kiss a bit more passionately. He had pulled her on top of him.
She felt him get turned on as their bodies pressed together. Audrey sighed softly Oh you  enjoying this huh?"
He groaned in her ear"Yeah I missed you too Audrey."
Audrey"I wrote a story I think you might like.
It's called Firehouse 66. The two main character's are both Lieutenants  and they are married."
He grinned" How did you know I was a Lieutenant?" 
"Could you possibly have predicted my future with your story?"
Audrey blushed"Wow so that means you want to read it. Actually I have a copy here in my backpack that is printed."
He said"You won't publish it because of your father's opinion on your work. Sure I'd love to read it. I always enjoyed your writing."
Audrey pulled away and grabbed her story handing it to him.
As he read the story he chuckled and groaned.
The romantic tention  between the two lieutenants at 66 was kind of made him excited he groaned. Audrey blushed and said"Wow you really like it?"
In response to her question he pulled her in and kissed her.
Audrey blushed sighing oh as his had caressed her body.
Audrey 's eyes could not help but glance over his strong body noticing  his body's reaction to touching her.
He groaned"Your writing is as amazing as always.  Also your body is even more amazing then I remember."
Audrey blushed and giggled as she felt her body's reaction to his touch.
He said"Audrey you were always there in the back of my mind. Wow I think I just... He trailed off blushing.
Audrey 's eyes passed over his body again seeing a wet spot forming on above his hard member.
Audrey blushed saying"Oh! I still have that effect on you after all this time?"
He grinned giving a sly chuckle" Of course you  do Audrey and I have always loved you."
Audrey"Yeah you were always the only one who understood me. You want me to show you something? Maybe you could come to my place sometime after your shift huh?" She tucked her phone number and address int to the folder she gave him the story in.
He said"I could not help but notice you sigh earlier. What was that about ?"
Audrey blushed " Umm I... felt ... umm....the same comfort of your presence and touch as always. And ... Umm... your just as turned on as I noticed you were when we were teens.
Well my father died six years ago so I guess we could start a romance now if you'd like that?"
He chuckled "Ah so you always knew my feelings for you huh Audrey? What is it that you wanted to show me?"
Audrey blushed grabbing his hand placing it on
her chest.
He said"I will take a rain check on that visiting hours are almost over."
Next he pulled her into a passionate kiss.
Audrey blushed before she left she whispered
"My address and phone number are in the folder the story is in. I've always thought even if we had a brief romance it would be awesome.  Good night to the one I have always loved so much."
He groaned wishing he was at her place now.
"Audrey I need you now.  Goodnight lovely  Audrey. "
He kissed her passionately one more time before slipping a paper in her pocket with his phone number and his home and work address.
As she grabbed the rest of thee two types of cookies he shook his head. He said"Audrey leave those they will help me heal."
Audrey left the cookies. As she left the room she felt a sudden gush down below.
She blushes knowing he triggers this reaction in her.
That night when she got home she put his contact information in her phone and went to bed.
The next morning when she turned her cell on she  had two texts one from her boss and one from him.
Her boss's text read "Get over here right away errand bitch I need you to get things done."
His text read "Good morning my beautiful Audrey. How was your night?"
She texted her boss "Leopold I will be in as soon as I make one stop. There is someone I have to see."
Audrey replied to his text"I slept fine handsome. I will be right over to see you."
His reply read"I'm back on shift in two days but
I get discharged in fifteen minutes. Please don't
Come to the hospital. I will stop  over to your place in two days after my shift. Can't wait to have you to myself beautiful.'
Audrey replied"I really don't want to go right to work my boss Leopold doesn't treat me right and won't pay me fairly."
She texted him the info on her work.
His response read"He's your boss really what a jerk. There was a fire there a few years back.
We believed to be an insurance fraud and arson. He refused to give us any information about what was going on."
Audrey replied" Yeah that sounds like tha fat bastards of a boss that I have. He has too many secrets and lies so much.  A few of the younger girls have fallen in love with him. I'm immune I know who he really is."
His text this morning read "Errand bitch get over here right now."
Her friends text read"Audrey please stop by my work some day and I will have one of the cops there to interview you.
I will stay with you through this sweetie just like when  we were kids and I always defended you."
Audrey"Will your friend that visited after you woke up from passing out the other day be there too?"
Her friend said"Yes he will probably be in the room with us."
Audrey texted back"Leopold will fire me if he finds out where I am..He has ways of knowing.
Luckily I'm not one of the slutty girls or else he'd have done much worse to me."
Her friend texted back"Put in your two weeks now and I will see what I can do about a new and better job."
Audrey texted back"I'm just about to send my two weeks now. There I just sent it and I'm not going in today."
Her friend texted back"Audrey I'm so proud of you. I love you.  Stop by my house ,I gave you the address."
Audrey texted back"I will meet you there and I will cook for you. I have all Grandma's recipes and quite a few of my own."
She put an online order in at  the natural foods market having it delivered to his apartment.
Just after they arrived and went in the groceries arrived.
She cood for six hours making sure he has plenty to eat. She filled bothe the refrigerator and freezer and some of the pantry cupboards.
After doing so she showered and put on a pretty dress. When she entered the kitchen he was shocked.
Audrey walked over hugging him and  topping it off with a passionate kiss.
His stomach rumbled loudly hungry in more ways than one.
He said"Audrey you did not have to do all of this. I can't wait to taste it. "
Audrey loaded containers labeling each with dates and information.
She left a stack of recipes for him.
Audrey some homemade spaghetti and cooked it. Draning it and putting home made red sauce on it.
Him"Damn this looks and smells so good.
She put two plates on the kitchen table.
Audrey said"This should get your strength back up for your next few shifts huh?
I don't know how your gonna keep your friends from stealing this."
As they both say to eat his phone buzzed.
He checked quickly grinning"I got you a jobat as a secretary at headquarters."
Audrey blushed "Wow really that a big change for me. Now let's eat so you get your strength back up."
Her friend nodded"Let's eat. That dress is fanomunal on you by the way. What was the other thing you mentioned wanting to show me when I was in the hospital?"
Audrey"You will know after we eat and I tell you what other foods are."
He took a small bite grinning and said
"Audrey this is so good."
He pulled her hand up kissing it.
Audrey blushed"Damn someone is excited.
You want to do something else huh?"
Him"Damn I guess I do want to to share a special moment with you."
After they finished the meal , cleaned up and she explained what meals were for what days.
She also made cookies and some other food for the fire crew.
He said why don't you come upstairs huh Audrey? I can't stop picturing you with that dress off. The joys of getting to touch every inch of you."
Audrey blushed nodding as he scooped her up in his arms pulling her against his chest.
Audrey finally felt safe again.
After they were in the bathroom he set her down and unzipped her dress.
He got chills as he gently pulled off her dress.
As he pulled off her panties and  bra  he noticed her sun kissed glow.
Audrey blushed undressing him.
She said"Damn I don't remember you needing me this badly."
He lifted her on to the bed.
Then he said"Audrey you deserve better and I will give you that."
He kissed her passionately before kissing down her body and caressing her whole body gently.
As his hands reached her sensitive area she moaned blushing as she felt herself drip on his hands.
He chuckled softly licking his fingers after pleasuring her.
Audrey blushed moaning in his ear"Your going to put much more then your finger inside me.
Looks like you better start soon you are almost at full there my love."
He nodded replying with" let me use my tongue first it will only be a few more minutes."
Audrey scooted up shuddering as his tongue entered her and he pleased her with his tongue.
Audrey blushed as he rolled her on to her back.
He got on top of her and began to tease her entrance with his tip.
Audrey blushed moaning in his ear"I've wanted to feel all of you for so long. Give me all of you."
He grinned knowing she was enjoying  this just as much as he was.
He slid in and started to thrust.
She moaned ,sighed and he groaned.
Sometime later he groaned in her ear
"Audrey gorgeous  I'm cumming."
After he finished she kissed him passionately again.  Whispering in his ear" You know your my first.  I never had gotten too far with guys they all got board due to my writing.
One almost proposed to me but. I realized that the ring was meant  for another girl and was fake and poorly made.  Probably would have caused ganggreen if I'm not mistaken. I have a picture on my phone.  I know that diomond was fake."
He nodded saying"Yeah show me the picture.
What was the guy's name?"
