See you in a week

"I need some hot chocolate or coffee. Something to warm me up!" Jisung was shaking when they got off the ice.

"It's not that cold"

"Your pants aren't completely soaked"

"I just listen to other people's advice"

"Hey! Your advice is like 'You're doing so great' and then 'Why did you fall down?'"

"That's all you remembered?"

"No, it was fun" Jisung laughed finally sitting on the bench with a wide smile.

"You see, you liked it. As I promised"

"Despite it, it's nice to feel the ground beneath my feet"

"I'd take you to the Sweet Cookie but my boss forbade going there when he's not around"

"I'll make a coffee when I'll be home"

"Oh no, that weird thing you drank to lunch again?"

"It's not a weird thing, just a dose of energy"

"Come to my flat instead, I'll make you a coffee. I don't have the appliances like in the cafe but I'll do my best"

"You're inviting me to your house? Not scared I'd rob you?"

"Not even a bit. You don't have time for it and you'd panic if you even try. Also, I don't have any expensive items there"

"Understandable" Jisung nodded.

"Do you have time to go to mine?" Minho asked with hope filling his eyes.

"I don't, of course. But I think I can put off a few assignments. I'm not in the mood to study. And I'm freezing"

"My place is a few minutes away"

"You're living close to an ice rink? How cool, I had to go there by bus"

"It's useful sometimes. I especially like going there an hour before closing"

"Skating in the dark, how romantically"

"We could do it sometime in the future"

"We could" Jisung blew on his hands trying to warm up.

"You have gloves, it won't work"

"Don't kill my dreams, I'm trying to believe it will work"

"Give me your hand" Minho took one of Jisung's hands and put it into his pocket, connecting their hands "Is it better?"

"A little. I should buy a coat with pockets"

Minho unlocked the door and walked into the corridor, then to the elevator.

The elevator almost closed if not the umbrella getting between it.

"Seeun, come here, I stopped it"

An old man stepped inside and a woman right after him. They were both wearing glasses, with gray hair and tired faces.

"Good evening" Minho wanted to bow but there was too little space, so he just nodded respectfully.

"Oh, Minho!" Old Miss smiled warmly. Her face was all wrinkled but her eyes kept shining like she was a young girl.

"Good evening, boy. I see that you have a guest" The man looked between them and sent a look to his wife. They didn't need words to communicate. They looked genuinely happy and Jisung could bet that if the elevator ride was longer they would start teasing them.

"Have a nice evening boys" the old woman said entering their flat.

"They were so nice and cute together. I haven't ever seen old people being so nice to gays"

"Why do you assume they know about my orientation?"

"Their looks were literally saying that"

"Maybe they heard me with my ex a few times..."

"Let's drop that topic"

"Agreed. What food do you want to eat?"

"Make me that coffee, I'm still freezing" They took off their coats and went to the kitchen.

Jisung looked outside by the windows. Millions of tiny snowflakes started falling down the sky gleaming in the cold sun and making this moment unforgettable.
