"Then I'll call Xu Ruobei and ask if she can come over!" Seeing this, Gu Xiaofan's first reaction was to contact Ren Xuefeng's wife.

Zhong Han also nodded in agreement: "That's great, let's call her over. I also want to ask her why she hasn't taken the initiative to give us the contact information of Ren Xuefeng's ex-wife."

After explaining the surveillance video clearly, Tang Li felt that he had completed his mission. Especially when he heard that the deceased's family would be asked to come and identify the video, he quickly stood up, put on his coat, nodded to Zhong Han, and said, "The rest is up to you. I'll go out and continue to investigate the situation before Ren Xuefeng disappeared."

After a while, Xu Ruobei came again. This time she was wearing black from head to toe. Her hair was simply tied behind her head. Even the rubber band that tied her braid was black. She had no makeup on her face, and her bloodless lips made her look much more haggard than the last time they met.

"I came here as soon as I received the call." After entering the door, she nodded to Gu Xiaofan.

Only half an hour had passed since Gu Xiaofan called her to inform her to come over. This shows that Xu Ruobei did come as quickly as she said.

"Sit over here!" Gu Xiaofan quickly led her to the desk, asked Xu Ruobei to sit in front of the computer, pointed at the surveillance video on the screen and said to her, "We will play this surveillance video for you repeatedly. You can watch it as many times as you want. Don't worry about the time. Please make sure to look carefully to see if the person in the surveillance video is Ren Xuefeng."

Xu Ruobei nodded, biting her lower lip lightly with her teeth, saying nothing. She sat at the table with a serious expression and browsed the surveillance video with the help of Gu Xiaofan. Zhong Han leaned against the table, watching the conversation between Xu Ruobei and Gu Xiaofan without saying a word, and occasionally looking at the video content on the computer monitor.

During the repeated playback of the surveillance video, Xu Ruobei did not say anything. The only times she spoke were to ask Gu Xiaofan to stop the video or rewind it. After watching it over and over again, she finally nodded and said to Gu Xiaofan with red eyes, "It's him. The person in the video is my husband, Ren Xuefeng."

"Are you sure?" Although Gu Xiaofan had helped Xu Ruobei review the surveillance video many times, he still confirmed with her again just to be on the safe side.

Xu Ruobei nodded: "After all, we have lived together for seven years, more than two thousand days and nights. It is impossible for me not to recognize my own man. What's more, the clothes worn by the man in the surveillance video are exactly the same as what Xuefeng wore that day."

"It was almost two months ago. Are you still so impressed by Ren Xuefeng's outfit that night?" Zhong Han asked intentionally or unintentionally.
