s. 5 ep. 15: Recovery

It's been a month since we had made it back home. Obviously our arrival had hit main headlines. The public was completely shocked to hear that Seven Kids survived on an island for six months.

We had gotten interviewed on the incident when we made it back. "And here with me live are the improbable survivors of the Jurassic World incident, the Nublar Seven! These teens were tragically left behind while attending camp and presumed dead after the fall of island Nublar, then struggled to survive all on their own for nearly a year. How did you do it?" The reporter said.

"Beats me."

"No clue." Yaz and Darius commented.

"You gotta look danger in the eye and laugh." Ben said before laughing. "That's what I did with Toro, this Carnotaurus I—" I rolled my eyes and laughed with everyone else. "How about Yaz saving us from the Mosasaurus?"

"Or how Sammy survived being poisoned by a dinosaur."

"Remember those Monolopho—whatever that got into the penthouse?"

"And we had to go down that elevator shaft. Plus can we talk about how this dude took on pretty much every single dinosaur including a mutated lizard and somehow survived losing a limb?"

"I don't die easily." We all shared a laugh.

"You actually faced down all those dinosaurs?" The new anchor sounded impressed.

"We sure did. So, I guess to answer your question, we survived because we had each other."

"So crony!" Kenji shouted which earned him an elbow to the side. "Ow! Brooklynn!"

"Camp fam for life!" Sammy yelled. We all laughed together. And that was the truth. We survived only together.

After the month passed I was able to remove the bandages and arm sling. I looked at myself through the restroom mirror. I slowly removed the bandages and sling.

I then took off my shirt and removed the bandages revealing all my scars. I looked at my body. I got flashbacks to when me and Zilla fought.

I pushed it out of my mind and took a breath. I looked down at my arm and held the stump. During the month it was really difficult to do day to day things without both my hands.

And obviously my fans were awaiting for my return. They knew that I have lost my limb and were sending their support. I was grateful but wasn't gonna stream till Brooklynn came back.

We both agreed to reveal our relationship together on stream. The fan base accordingly had been shipping the two of us for a while now. I found that funny and adorable.

Anyways, I put on my shirt and walked out the restroom. I walked over to the kitchen and saw my dad making a cup of coffee.

"Hey, kid. How did you sleep?"
