Wednesday went out to fetch some kind of evidence about her stalker a few hours ago. She promised me she'd be back before 12:00pm and it was already 12:36pm.

I became restless when she wasn't here so I just stared at the door. My knees to my chin and my arms wrapped around my feet holding me still.

I vigorously began to tap my feet on my bed, I couldn't ask Thing because he went with her too. I stood up and walked to the door because now I became inpatient. I opened the door and immediately followed her scent onto where it went.

I somehow ended up in the woods by Jericho. Her scent was even stronger so I began to run towards the smell. It had lead me to a pawn shop then a flower shop? And lastly a toy store. This wasn't making any sense to me. I smelt something else though... what the hell what is that?

Earlier with Wednesday-

I had left to retrieve an important artifact for Enid, I had lied and said it was for my stalker but instead it was for her.

A nice blue sapphire surrounded by a delightful amount of black chained necklace. I saw it on my last encounter in town and did not believe if it was here or not but it didn't hurt to try.

When I opened the doors I was astonished by the beautiful rubies and gems. I walked straight to the merchant and asked for the necklaces I wanted. As well as paying for it, it was perfect for Enid.

I smiled into it, then thanked the merchant before I walked out. Today was gonna be the day I'd ask Enid to be mine, the curse will grow more intense if I hadn't asked now. I walked to a pawn shop and was almost disgusted by the amount of color I was greeted with. I saw the pink roses and remembered Enid had loved those colors, then I picked out some blue colored roses as well. I chose black wrapping paper and paid for the bouquet.

I walked to a toy shop and bought her a green dragon she was cackling about a week ago.

I proceeded through the woods and set everything up. I knew Enid would've been worried about me and will go against my wishes to going alone.

Soon enough, she showed up not long after I had set up a two nice stumps next to Jericho's lake with small strawberry covered dark chocolate treats and a few cookies and milk on a small table.

"Where have you been Wedns-... day?" Enid screamed.

"Around." I simply replied as I looked away from her. I sat facing the moon and enjoying the view. "What's this?" Enid asked me

"Well I knew you'd be curious." I let out a smile and looked at her. "This is simply my appreciation for you Enid. It is our roommate anniversary. When I joined Nevermore, when I met you." I began to stand up and walk towards her. "But I want today to mean something more meaningful."

"Enid, I don't understand how someone could be so bright and I be so dark. Yet, I find myself growing for your attention day after day. I couldn't find this joy in anyone else" I grabbed her hand and kissed her. "I- I want to.." my eyes began to tear up, but I had already practiced this moment in my head I shouldn't have began to cry. Especially with how I've trained my body.

Enid looked into my eyes and began to smile as I cried. I saw tears in her eyes and heard sniffles as she slid her hands on to my burning face of emotions. Her smile was wide and almost taunting.

"I want to.. grow with you.." I kept crying as I tried to talk and Enids smile became bigger.

The moonlight had shined on us, she became taller. I looked up and noticed it was a full moon.

I grabbed her hand on my cheek as she smiled while she began to grow a few centimeters taller than she already was. "Enid Sinclair.. I am destined to fall for you. Now or in the afterlife, I feel that my life without your glowing presence will never be fulfilled." My crying began to calm down and my face was met with Enids lips.

"Wednesday do you not know what happened?" Enid asked me

"No I am not following." I answered

She smiled even bigger and wrapped her arms around my neck. "You're mine Addams!" She tightened her hug and began to squeal.

"I am sorry what?" I asked

"You and I are now forever mates.." she kissed me "I love you Wednesday" she kissed me again. Enid began to shrink and our kiss held passion. "Cara mia.." I smiled as I kissed her poetically.

"Tu es l'amour de ma vie" Enid said as I leaned her down for a dramatic effect.

The night went on fantastically as we both danced with each other through a beautiful song called Chihiro by Billie Eillish.

She held me by my waist and I held on to her shoulders. The night was perfect, it was real, it was explicit...

But before I knew it I heard a loud rustle behind my back. I was about to turn around to interrogate our surroundings but before I could I was indulged with a loud noise and was falling to the ground.

"WEDNESDAY!"
