Many people believe that the eyes are the gateway to the soul. Once someone stares into the eyes for longer than three seconds you can tell certain things, especially things like curiosity.

Saleaah's eyes wondered over Quil's figure as he looked everywhere but nowhere as he conversed with Embry. Quil was dressed in cutoff shorts and a knitted sweater without sleeves. Which was unusual seeing that it was the middle of winter, yet normal seeing that she now knew what the boys were.

Shia watched as Quil's arm moved as an aid to emphasize the words that he lazily said, eyes trained on the movement of his bicep.

"Looks like the Cullen's aren't the only one who stares like someone is a piece of meat. If you throw him a bone, maybe he'll do a trick." Paul chuckled as he stood next to his favorite prophet.

Without knowing it, Shia seemed to roll comforting and calming emotions towards the wolves when they were around. All of them could feel it, but no one mentioned it. Paul in particular enjoyed being around the young prophet, not only because she kept him calm and level headed, but because she was fun to tease as well.

Paul patted the girl's head walking past her, not making it obvious that he noticed the blush crawling across her ears.

Not helping the blush that made its way comfortably on the Clearwater's face, Quil's eyes lazily moved and met hers causing him to stand up straight from his leaned position.

Saleaah watched as Quil's lips parted and his eyes trained on her, smooth sailing emotions of longing, sadness, frustration, and desperation followed from the male eagerly as if it was a one way path straight to the girl.

But Quil didn't move a muscle. No matter how much he wanted to he didn't, he couldn't because he knew she wouldn't want him to. Not to gravitate towards her went against every bone, nerve, and fiber of his being, but he couldn't break her boundaries.

Well, he didn't have to at least. As Quil began to avert his eyes from Shia, she moved in his direction. Her eyes were trained on him as she walked with a purpose.

Embry from his spot in front of Quil, grinned and patted his shoulder, just as Jacob arrived next to his two best friends.

"Ready?" Jake asked, gaining a slight nod from Quil and a chuckle from Embry.

"Some may not be." The latter commented earning a judgmental look from the other.

All Embry did was gesture towards Saleaah with his chin as she stood only 50 feet away. Quil froze seeing his girl willingly walk towards him. His heart pounding, stomach turning, and other things...well feeling. He never knew how much his imprint willing walking towards him, affected him.

"Right, we'll see you later." Jake smirked landing a brief pat on the side of Quil's arm. Embry winked at Quil and mummers, "Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

Both Embry and Jake walked away from the imprints, quickly greeting their prophet, and left towards Emily and Sam's.

Quil, of course, paid no attention to the comments and snickers of his pack mates. His dilated eyes stayed fixated on the girl in front of him, whose hair was in a messy bun. His ears focusing on the fast beating of her heart as her eyes refused to meet his.

"Eyes, Angel." Were the first words that left Quil's lips.

The first words he had spoken to the girl in about two weeks in dog years, although it was actually three days.

Who would have thought one could yearn for a soul so badly in only three singular, long, excruciating days.

Saleaah's eyes trailed up from the ground, following the request without hesitation.

"I'm sorry." Shia responded, earning a small smile from Quil, forcing his eyes to crinkle.

"You don't have to apologize to me. You deserve to take time away from this. This is hard news to take." Quil told her and opened the passenger side door of his truck.

"Hop in."

Saleaah climbed in with minimum help from Quil, seeing that he wanted to help but she slapped his hands away.

A few things about Saleaah is that she is the type to want to do it herself. Growing up she was always wanted to do things on her own, yet having a twin made her more dependent on him; especially, given Seth's nature. So, having someone other than her family try to give her more help than needed, it took some time adapting to.

Not to mention how things changed drastically after receiving her prophecy. She needed the guidance, the help to understand the new world she was hurled into.

Once they were a few minutes down the road, off school grounds. Quil made his move. He inched his hand closer to the girl, slowly letting it land on her thigh. Shia's eyes moved away from the window, down to his hand, then to the side of his face. Oh how handsome the male was.

Just as slowly, Shia covered his hand with her own, making the move to lace their fingers together. The blush wasn't shy on her face as a grin made its way to Quil's face, yet he didn't look over to his girl. He kept his eyes focused on the road until they reached their destination.

"I missed you." Quil finally muttered after setting his truck in park, leaving it about a mile away from the cliffs. "I missed you too." Shia truthfully muttered, causing Quil to shift, pulling her across the seats, fleshed against his side.

"Prove it." He told her softly, finally moving his eyes to hers. In close proximity they breathed the same air, hearts aligned, feelings unstable between need and adoration. Their heads rested against each other as her eyes scanned his face, tongue darting out to lick her lips.

This would be her first time initiating something. Something she would gladly do, secretly and greedily succumbing to the waves of emotions rolling from both him and her own emotions. Something that could be dangerous, but she didn't care for once.

"You think I won't?" She muttered, eyes glancing up to his hooded emotion filled eyes, then to his lips and back. Quil hummed in a teasing way as a small smirk graced his lips.

Once the teasing hum left his throat, it quickly left alongside the smirk as Shia fused her lips with his own. Her body slightly shifting up to meet his, she poured her feelings into the kiss. As well as projecting them.

Quil gasped slightly as he felt emotions that weren't his own surround him like a blanket and closed him in like an envelope. Saleaah was showing him how she felt in more ways than one. First through the heated kiss as their lips parted and met again in passion and desperation. Second through her feelings floating to him in small clear waves.
