"HOW IS HE?"
I asked the attending nurse of Meylan.
He passed out last night when I told him that I love him.
"He's under observation Ma'am" sabi nito.
Grabe, ganun pala epekto ko sa kaniya?
Nasabihan lang ng I love You, tumaba na agad.
Paano pa kaya if pumayag akong mag-made love with him.
Naku, baka hindi kami makagawa ng bata kapag nahimatay siya sa kalagitnaan.
"Thanks for informing me, miss" I winked at her. She turned red. Walang kupas pa rin ang kapogian ko.
I giggled upon seeing her reaction towards me."You just told me, you love me! And now you're smiling with someone else" nakabusangot nitong nguso.
"Gising kana pala?" Tanong ko dito at umupo sa gilid ng kama. "Repeat what you said last night. I want to hear it again" he plucked his lips.
Nakakahiya sa nurse na nandito.
"Leave" he told the nurse when he noticed that I'm uncomfortable with her. "Now that we're alone, kindly tell me you love me. Pleaaaaseee Little Venom" parang bata nitong kausap sa'kin.
Babarahin ko pa sana ito, kawawa naman.
"I love you. I love you. I love you so much Meylan" I repeated. Hinila ako nito papalapit sa kaniya at hinalikan sa labi.
He pulled me to his side, malaki naman ang hospital bed kasi nasa VIP room kami. Hindi ko na pinaalam sa mga kaibigan niya ang nangyari, baka pagtawanan pa siya.
"I can't believe it, Little Venom. Mahal mo talaga ako? Walang halong biro, walang halong awa?" Natawa ako sa sinabi niya. "Paulit ulit tayo Meylan. You want me to unlove you?" I asked, looking straight to his eyes.
"I just want to make sure. Baka mag-bago ang isip mo at bigla nalang ako magising na hindi mo na ako mahal" his face saddened.
He's overthinking it so much.
"I promise, I love you Meylan. That's it" yumakap ako sa kaniya. He sniffed my shoulder. "Ngayon pa lang gusto na kitang angkinin" kinagat niya ang balikat ko.
Mabilis ko naman siyang nahampas doon sa sinabi niya. "What the fish ka talaga!? Manyak ka na naman!" I hissed.
Natawa ito. "Mahal lang kita eh. It's natural for lovers to do those kinds of things when they're in love. Just like Aicelle and Kaia who always-"
"Tumahimik ka. Gagayahin mo pa 'ko kay Kaia na malakas ang stamina ng Reynang iyon" I murmured, pinching the tip of his nose.
Ang aming moment ay naistorbo ng doktor nang pumasok ito. "Ugh, sorry to interrupt you King Meylan but I just want to say that you're good to go after your final check-up with doctor Mendez later" ibinigay nito ng check-up ni Meylan kahapon.
