"WHAT'S OUR ACTIVITY FOR TODAY MY LITTLE VENOM?"
I asked, looking at her while she washes our clothes near the side of the river.
We're out for a week. Nag-leave siya galing sa trabaho and guess what she put on her leave. She wrote that she's having chicken pox.
What a genius mind she had right?
"Hindi mo ba 'ko tutulungan dito Meylan? Baka gusto mong sa dagat mo nalang bingwitin itong mga damit mo" I wonder why she's always mad at me these days.
"What's wrong Little Venom?" I calmly asked before helping her with the clothes. "Walang problema" pero ang sungit niya.
"Are you mad at me because I want to experience all the outdoor activities I missed?" She rolled her eyes. "I'm not mad at you. I'm glad that you want to experience it" she said bitterly.
"What!? You're glad but your expression says the opposite"
She raised a brow. "Hindi ko rin alam. Manahimik kana lang bago pa kita itulak diyan" I don't know the reason why she's acting like that.
After washing the clothes, she ordered me to dry them up on the top of the big stones alongside the river.
"Lagyan mo ng bato sa taas ng mga damit para hindi liparin ng hangin" she instructed before leaving me with a lot of sampangin.
Am I right? Is it sampangin?
I did followed her instruction.
So this is how the countryside lifestyle works?
I love this kind of living, very simple and quiet yet enjoying.
"Samahan mo 'ko sa bilihan ng gulay. I want to cook some veggies for us para naman maiba ang pagkain natin"
I nodded and waited for her to finish changing her clothes.
We rented a very cute house made out of bamboo poles and indigenous materials.
It looks so simple but it's very comfortable inside. Especially that I'm with my Little Venom.
"Let's go. Huwag kang pagala gala dun kapag wala ako. Naku Meylan, kapag ikaw nawala hindi kita hahanapin" banta niya bago kami nagsimulang maglakad.
After a few minutes, we finally arrived at our destination. Their so called market but it looks like a sari sari store to me.
"Magkano po ito teh?" Tanong niya sa isang manang. "20 lang po ang tatlo Ma'am" sagot naman ni manang manininda.
"Dalawa po and then, tig-iisa po ng sayote at kalabasa" she handed one hundred pesos and she even got a change from purchasing various kinds of vegetables.
"They're selling their goods too cheap" komento ko. "Ayaw mo nun?" She asked, looking at me while smiling.
"You made my heart skip a beat" I murmured. "You're too honest with your words" she chuckled.
