A warning flash across the screen showing that this will contain graphic. The roars if the Cyclops could be heard as they show Odysseus. "My brothers! The rest of our fleet. They wait at the beach
and if we're defeated they're good as dead. Straight ahead! That is who we're fighting" he explains as he looks at his men and back at Polyphemus."A plan is what you need more than anything right now but please please don't do anything stupid" Annabeth holds onto Percy as she watches
"No backup. No chance for support. So draw out your swords. Our foe must be thwarted right here and now. Show me how great is your will to survive. Six hundred lives at stake! It's just one life to take!
and when we kill him then our journey's over! No dying on me now! Defeat is not allowed! We must live through this day so Fight fight fight!" His men listen to him and their eyes fill with new determination. Polites is the only one that doesn't look sure about things, the others ignore him as they are ready to see blood but he has this worried look on his face."I'm confused. Why join the war if you're scared?" One of the suitors ask as they see the hesitation in Polites.
"Surround him! attack from behind! Keep distance in mind and stay in his blind spot and strike his heels. Show him that we're deadly. Exhaust him! Don't let him get close! He's strong but he's slow! He can't land a blow if we're out of reach! Find a breach! Stand up and fight for your lives. Push forward!" The crew follow their captain, everything looks good. It looks like they might win and leave the cave but they were fooled. A thud is heard as Odysseus turn to where it came from and saw his best mate Polites. "Captain" he reaches for his Captain's hand before falling limp. Odysseus stood there with horror in his eyes as he looks down at his best mate. "Enough" Polyphemus echoes. "He's got a club! He's got a clu-" he says nothing, his eyes still frozen on the dead body of his best friend. "What are our orders? Captain? Capta-" he didn't even flinch as the blood of his men gets splashed on his face. "You've hurt me enough. Six hundred lives I'll take, Six hundred lives I'll break and when I kill you then my pain is over. You're dying here and now. Escape is not allowed. You won't live through this day now." He taunts them as he lifts his club yet again to crush Odysseus. "Die! Diii-iii-ii-ieee" he falls over.
"What the hell! You can't freeze like that. You're their captain!!" Anthony(evil suitor) yells at Odysseus. "That's no way for a King to be!" Annabeth got up and yells at him feeling very offended on Odysseus' behalf. "Listen here you no good bastard, it is okay for someone to be in shock when someone near and dear to them died. That doesn't give you the right to yell at him for something that already happened!" Anthony draws his sword and Annabeth smiles. "Who do you think you are to talk to me like that" Percy uncaps Riptide, pointing it to Anthony, Nico got shadow arrows ready, Frank's arm is turn to a craw as his other hand is grabbing his blade, Jason and Thalia stand ready with their hands sparking. "No, who do you think you are pointing a sword at her." Anthony saw he was outnumbered but he stood firm as these were just kids he could easily slay.
He scoffs. "Children will be easy to defeat." This got them even angrier as he showed no sign of dropping his weapon. "I would ask for you to be wise about this but you have no wisdom. So I'm just gonna take your sword" she wraps her hand around the blade which he thought was crazy so he jerked it to cut her hand but no blood came dripping out. Annabeth took a step closer and he gets a dagger to stab her but she grabs his arm and twisted it, breaking it. He cries him pain and attempt to kick her but her fast thinking was no match for him as she successfully gets the sword, breaks his leg with one kick. She got him kneeling in front of her and points his own sword at him. "You're a full to just assume you can defeat demigods." The mortals watched in shock at how easy it was for her to do that. The Gods looked at their children with more interest.
