(A/N: I forgot that I introduced Henrik as the person who brought them so let's just say that Henrik and the Fates are working together also this is a long chapter)
A table with food appeared and everyone got something to eat or drink. The mortals were muttering about Odysseus being stupid for giving away his identity but none of them were brave enough to actually speak up about it. He was still their King and showing any disrespect could end horrible for them.
"Food!" Leo and Percy says excited and race each other to the table. Leo wanted to get there first so he threw fire at Percy, the son of Poseidon dodged them and pulled Leo down to the floor with water. (Percy always carries a water bottle with him BC he's a paranoid demigod. He doesn't need it, he just likes using it to get some strength during fights)
"I win" Percy taunts as he reached the table first. The gods watched some in amusement, some wondering how powerful the kids were and some *cough* Zeus *cough* watched in annoyance. Leo did the mature thing and stuck out his tongue towards Percy who did the same. Telemachus watched in aw, he never had friends because he's prince and had other duties. The demigods got their food and just kept to themselves as everyone else did. Telemachus walks towards the group. "Uh hi there..My name is Telemachus, I'd like to thank you all for what you did to Anthony. Especially you" he extends his hand towards Annabeth and she happily shook it. "It's really no problem." Telemachus smiles at her and Percy made sure they kept their handshake short. "So you guys are children of the Gods huh..that sounds nice, does it come with any perks?" He didn't want to seem nosey but it did seem interesting to him (since he's from a time where none of the children ever got claimed)
The Gods were obviously listening in on this conversation. "Yes and No" he looks confused at this. "I'm a child of Apollo so my life's okay" Will shrugs. Frank chuckles softly. "That answers nothing. Telemachus was it, to answer your question it's complicated. Some of us we have powers you see but those powers aren't gifts, they're just the only things keeping us alive" he tries to explain. "And some of us with no power, like me, we have weapons" Annabeth shows her dagger and puts it back. "Being a demigod just means you have to fight monsters everyday on top of retrieving things the gods misplace like THE MASTER BOLT!" Percy glares at Zeus and Thalia was the one to zap him causing his attention back on the conversation. "It's not that bad though, we get to save the mortal world even if they don't deserve it." Nico finishes.
Telemachus looked like he understood some of it. "So what's it like to grow up with a God?" This question caused them to frown. "We don't grow up with them..we live with our mortal parent until it is time for us to go to Camp half-blood or Camp Jupiter. That's where we train and make friends" Hazel gives a small smile. "Oh, I'm sorry" Telemachus didn't want them to feel bad so he apologised. They shrugged it off. "You all look pretty strong but can I ask whom the strongest one might be?"
"That's me" Percy and Jason said at the same time. It's always like this whenever someone brings up the 'which one is stronger' card. "Oh I'm sorry just because your dad is King of the Gods that just makes you automatically the strong one?" Percy said filled with sarcasm. Jason scoffs, the others rolled their eyes at the two. "I don't see a river nearby for you to ask your dad for help so yes I'm the strongest" Leo snorts. "Who are we fooling. Both of you get scared when Annabeth says your full names" Annabeth looks at Leo with a playful offended look. "Not true" Percy and Jason said as they looked at eachother. Annabeth gives both of them a look and they look away, this caused the group to laugh.
Penelope watched happily as her son made new friends in this weird place. That moment was short lived when Anthony and a few of his men walked towards the group. "Little girl, you have my sword. I'd like it back" the group looks at him and his men. "No, I'm okay" she liked how the sword felt in her hand and she knew if she gave it back to him, he might want to fight again. "No child should play with a dangerous weapon" He reach out to take the sword but he got stopped with an arrow pointing at him. "Another step closer and you're dead" Annabeth looks at her friend. "Thalia put down the arrow. He's not worth all this fighting." Anthony got enraged as he takes his sword from Annabeth and push her to the floor. Telemachus helps her up. She glares at him, gesturing her friends to not make a move. "What about a little challenge, you like those right. I beat you, I get your sword and if you beat me, which you won't, I'll leave you alone and you're allowed to be a jerk" he rolls his eyes. "I have no intention to beat a child" Telemachus looks offended. "You're scared, I get it" she taunts.
On lookers were now paying full attention to them. "Fine! Get a weapon" he backs up and people stand aside to watch this fight. Annabeth shrugs. "I won't need anything" Ares leans forward. "Sister, it would appear your daughter is a fool" Athena glares at him and pays attention to the fight that's about to start. Anthony attacks Annabeth first, his attack wasn't strategic in Annabeth's eyes which honestly made it each for her to beat him. She grabs his arm and kicked him in the stomach. He swings his sword at her recklessly and she yet again dodge it, giving him an uppercut. "This is boring." She sighs and kicks his sword out his hand, he goes to grab it but she kicks him in the face causing him to stumble back. Annabeth picks up the sword. "Thank you" she smiles and joins her friends again.
Telemachus looks at her with a sparkle in his eyes. "I'm in love" he says in a whisper but Percy who stood next to him heard and just glared at the Prince of Ithaca. Percy walks over to Annabeth and kisses her. "You did good. Want some blueberries?" He offers and she happily take some.
