Odysseus stood there still frozen in place, his ears ringing from the screams of his crew and the roar from the Cyclops. The ringing fades as Eurylochus finally got through to Odysseus. "CAPTAIN!" Odysseus looks up and sees the Cyclops on the ground. "We must move quickly. We don't have much time. He didn't notice I mixed lotus in his wine. Mark my word now this is not the end" he picks up Polites' ribbon. "But Captain, what do we do with our fallen friends?" Eurylochus asks.
Odysseus now being back to reality got a lot of people and some Gods on the tip of their seats.
"Remember Them. When the fire begins to fade for the fallen and the fraid, we are not to let them die in vain. Remember Them, we're the once who carry on, the flames of those whose gone. Our comrades will not die in vain!" He turns to the remaining crew. "I need all our hands on his club. This is how we're getting out of here: use your swords to sharpen the stub and turn it into a gain speer" his men get ready. "LETS KILL HIM" Odysseus shakes his head. "His body is blocking the path. If we kill him we'll be stuck inside" Eurylochus gets a new level of determination. "Captain, where do we attack him?" Odysseus turns to the Cyclops and back to Eurylochus. "We gotta stab him in the eye!" "Yes sir" the crew echoes and gets to work.
Percy whines and covers his left eye. "Not my good eye" he says in a jocking manner which earned him a slap over the head from his girlfriend for being insensitive but a chuckle out of Leo and Jason so that was a plus.
They get it sharp enough with their swords and awaits their captain. "NOW!" They push the club into Polyphemus' eye causing him to roar in pain. "SCATTER!" Odysseus yells at his crew so they don't join the ones already in the underworld. They grab what they can and run when suddenly there's voices coming from deep within the cave. "Who hurt you?" This caused Eurylochus and Odysseus to hide behind a rock, the others got out safely. "There are more of them" Eurylochus whisper to his captain. Odysseus peers over the rock and sees more eyes, no bodies just eyes as they repeatedly ask Polyphemus who hurt him.
Penelope was panicking about this, wondering how they escaped. A lot of those in the theatre wondered how Odysseus and Eurylochus escaped.
Eurylochus looks at his captain. "Captain we should run" Odysseus kept peering over the rock. "Wait" he glance at Eurylochus. "Captain please" he didn't want to die here. "Wait" Odysseus instructed. "It was nobody.. nobody" Polyphemus answers. "If nobody hurts you be silent!" They leave. Polyphemus reach out. "Don't go!" He was in pain and couldn't understand why his brothers are leaving him. Odysseus saw this as a clear so he looks at Eurylochus. "Lets grab the sheep and away we go" he whispers as Eurylochus nods picking up the sheep and walking out. Odysseus followed but stopped.
"Run fool! Why'd you stop!" Leo yells at the screen and throws popcorn to it which landed on one of the suitors in front of him. They couldn't do anything about it since they didn't have their weapon and also because they were scared to know what the demigod was capable of after watching Anthony get beaten.
Odysseus sees an owl overhead. "Have you forgotten the lessons I taught you? He's still a threat until he's dead. Finish it!" She instructs. She stood next to him while both faced the Cyclops. "No" he said with no hesitation. She looks at him with disbelief. "No?" Odysseus nods. "What good would killing do when mercy is a skill more this world could learn to use. My friend is dead! Our foe is blind! The blood we shed, it never dries! Is this what it means to be a warrior of the mind?" He steps back into the Cave. "Don't!" Athena warns him but he pays her no mind. "HEY CYCLOPS! When we met I lead with peace while you fed your inner beast but my comrades will not die in vain! Remember Them! The next time that you dare choose not to spare, remember them.. remember us.. remember me! I'm the reining King of Ithaca, I am neither man nor mythical. I am your darkest moment, I am the infamous ODYSSEUS!" he yells into the caves like an idiot.
The screen turned off and the lights came on. The chairs disappeared well except for the thrones and some chairs in the back.
