The lights came on and a note fell into Hera's lap with another bang as new people fell into the theatre. "Please give a moment as we bring in new people, they are not to be harmed by anyone. No arguments over them being demigods. Fates" Hera read out loud. The new people got up. "Gods Jason you're just muscle and you're crushing me." One of them complained. Zeus cleared his throat. "Please introduce yourselves and your Godly parent"
"Okay, we can do this by rank or-" the blonde girl gets cut off by a boy. "I'll start. My name's Leo (I forgot his surname) and I'm the son of Hephaestus. I know, I'm great" he takes a seat. "I'm Annabeth Chase, Daughter of Athena." The mortals look confused at this. "Children of Athena are born from thought" Annabeth explains to them before going to sit next to Leo. "Wise girl do we just do name and surname or full name?" A boy with seagreen eyes asks her. "If we did full names we'd be here a while. Just name and surname" he nods. "I am Jackson, Percy Jackson. Son of Poseidon" he smirks and sits down. "REALLY POSEIDON REALLY" Amphitrite yells at her husband. Hades sighs "of course you broke the oath"
"I'll just continue. I'm Will (also forgot his surname) and I'm the son of Apollo" he sits down. "I'm Frank Zhang, son of Mars I mean Ares" he sits down. "The name's Hazel (don't remember) Daughter of Pl- Hades. And no he didn't break the oath. I died before the oath was set in place and I just got reincarnated" she explains. "I'm Nico Di Angelo. Son of Hades. He didn't break the oath unlike Zuzu. I was born before the oath set place and after the oath I was in hiding." He sits down. "I am Lieutenant Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus and Huntress of Lady Artemis. This is my baby brother Jason Grace. That's right Hera, not once but twice." She smiles and sits down with her brother.
"The disrespect!" Hera glares at the girl before she sat down. The lights when dim again.
The ship finally reached an island. Odysseus took on the mend on his ship and instructed the rest to stay put. They walk until they found the cave. "Over here" Odysseus call to his men. "Look at all this food looks at all this sheep." Polites looks around as they walk in. "I can't believe this cave has all this for us to keep" Eurylochus steps to his captain. "I gotta hand it to you both, this is quite a treat. There sheep here to feed the entire fleet." Odysseus feels off. He doesn't like how easy this was. "it's almost too perfect,too good to be true. Why would the lotus eaters pass up on all this food?" He wonder aloud. His crew doesn't seem to care as they get to collecting food to take back to the ships.
"He's right but why did they have to kill that poor sheep. He was just minding his own business" Hazel cross her arms with a pout. "They were hungry, they didn't think dear" Frank informs his girlfriend.
"Who are you?" A deep voice comes from the back of the cave followed by heavy footsteps. The crew wanted to run but Odysseus motion for them to stand still. "Hey there we're just travelers. We come in peace" the Cyclop looks at them and sees his sheep dead. "You killed me sheep..my favourite sheep..what gives you the right to deal a pain so deep? Don't you know that pain you sow is pain you weep. Time to drink your blood from where you stand, your life now is in my hands. Before I'm don't you will learn that it's not so fun take, you came to my home to steal but now you'll become my meal. A trade you see, take from you like you took from me."
"We got tricked by the Lotus eaters!" Polites looks at his captain. Annabeth shivers at the thought of the Lotus hotel. "They like doing that" she tells Polites. He turns to look at her. "You too?" She nods. "They like to make you think everything is good when in reality it's not"
Odysseus looks at his men making sure they did not do anything rash to get them all killed. "There's been a misunderstanding. We never came here to steal but now that I see we've done some damage maybe you and I can make a deal? I'll give you our finest treasure so long as we leave alive. You can have the world's best tasting wine" the Cyclop looks confused. "Wine?" Odysseus gets the wine barrel they brought slips something in. "Have a drink, one sip and you'll understand the power that's in your hands. A win so fresh you'd never want to eat human flesh, then we shall be on our way. No bloodshed here today. A trade you see, gift from you and a gift from me" he drinks it. "I'd like to thank you, stranger what's your name" Odysseus smiles thinking they were now free. "My name is nobody..nobody..nobody" Cyclops nods. "Nobody, for your gift I'd want to reply" he sets down the empty barrel. "I'm so glad we see eye to eye"
Leo snorts causing Annabeth to hit him over the heads.
"Yes you shall be the final man to die" this caught Odysseus off guard. "What..watch out!" He yells at his men as Polyphemus slams his fist on the ground.
"Oh my Hades..they are so dead" Nico says in a mutter. Will looks grim "I feel bad for their mothers"
