Hey guys sorry I haven't posted updates in a while, more should be coming weekly from this point forward. I have just been very busy with school.

The next morning, Vivienne woke up with a sense of calm she hadn't felt in weeks. The weight of everything-Harriet, the tension with Leah, her lingering uncertainties-had lifted after their long, heartfelt talk. As sunlight filtered through her curtains, she stretched lazily and smiled at the memory of Leah's reassurances.

*Morning, sunshine. Hope you slept well. Thinking about you. Let's do something special today-just us. Let me know what you think.*

Vivienne grinned at the message, feeling warmth bloom in her chest. Leah had a way of making her feel like the center of the universe. She quickly texted back.

*Good morning! I slept great, thanks to you. Something special sounds perfect-any ideas?*

Within seconds, Leah replied: *Meet me at First Beach at noon. Dress comfy.*

Curiosity piqued, Vivienne got out of bed and prepared for the day. She opted for a casual yet cozy look: jeans, a loose sweater, and her favorite boots. The air outside was crisp and fresh as she drove to the beach, her thoughts buzzing with excitement.

When she arrived, Leah was already there, leaning casually against a picnic table with her hands in her pockets. She looked effortlessly stunning in a flannel shirt and jeans, her wind-tousled hair framing her face perfectly.

"Hey," Vivienne called out, waving as she approached.

Leah turned, her face lighting up with a smile that made Vivienne's heart skip. "Hey yourself," Leah said, pulling Vivienne into a hug. "You ready for an adventure?"

"Always," Vivienne replied, her curiosity deepening. "What's the plan?"

Leah gestured toward the trailhead leading into the forest. "Thought we'd take a walk, just the two of us. There's this spot I want to show you-it's quiet, peaceful. Perfect for us."

They set off together, the sound of waves crashing in the distance blending with the rustling of leaves underfoot. Leah carried a small backpack, but she wouldn't say what was inside, only smirking when Vivienne asked.

As they walked, they talked about everything and nothing-how their lives had changed since Vivienne arrived in La Push, their favorite childhood memories, and their plans for the future.

After about twenty minutes, they reached a clearing overlooking the ocean. The view was breathtaking: cliffs rising high above the water, the sunlight glinting off the waves, and the salty breeze carrying the scent of pine.

Leah pulled a blanket from her backpack and spread it out on the grass. "I come here when I need to think," she said, sitting down and patting the spot beside her. "Figured you'd like it too."

Vivienne sat down, her eyes fixed on the horizon. "It's beautiful," she murmured. "Thanks for bringing me here."

Leah shrugged, though her eyes were warm. "You've been through a lot lately. Thought you could use some space to breathe."

They sat in companionable silence for a while, soaking in the serenity of the moment. Then Leah reached into her bag again, pulling out a small thermos and two mugs.

"Hot chocolate?" she offered, pouring them both a cup.

Vivienne laughed softly. "You think of everything, don't you?"
