Vivienne woke up to the unexpected brightness of sunlight streaming through her window. Blinking against the golden rays, she sat up and stretched, feeling a pleasant warmth that contrasted sharply with the usual rain. The room seemed almost transformed by the sunlight, casting a cheerful glow on the thyme-coloured walls and the white bedding.

She got out of bed and opened the window, letting in the fresh, crisp air. The sky was a brilliant blue, and the scent of damp earth mixed with the fragrance of blooming flowers from outside.

As she prepared herself for the day, memories of the previous evening floated back to her—Embry's sudden departure, the comforting poems, and, most vividly, the beautiful girl she had met. The curiosity about the girl lingered, and Vivienne felt a renewed determination to learn more about her.

After getting dressed, she headed downstairs, the sunlight making the house feel more inviting and vibrant. She found Simon and Tiffany in the kitchen, enjoying a leisurely breakfast.

"Good morning," Vivienne greeted them, her mood lifted by the sunny weather.

"Good morning, sweetheart," Tiffany replied with a warm smile. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, I did," Vivienne said, helping herself to some toast. "It's such a beautiful day today."

Simon nodded, looking out the window. "It's rare to see the sun like this in La Push. Perfect day to explore or just enjoy the weather."

Vivienne smiled, feeling the day's potential. "I think I might do just that."

As she finished her breakfast, she thought about how to spend her day. Embry's words about the tattoo and the girl echoed in her mind. She decided she would try to find Embry and see if he could shed some light on the mysteries that had captivated her thoughts.

With a sense of anticipation, Vivienne stepped outside, ready to embrace the sunny day and whatever it might bring.

Vivienne decided to take advantage of the rare sunny day and explore the area a bit more. After finishing her breakfast and thanking Simon and Tiffany, she grabbed her bag and headed out the door. The sunlight felt invigorating, and she breathed in the fresh air, feeling more hopeful than she had in a long time.

As she walked down the road, she couldn't help but think about the girl she had met yesterday. There was something about her that Vivienne couldn't shake off, and she was determined to find out more. Maybe Embry would be able to help her understand what had happened and who this girl was.

She decided to head towards the beach, where Embry had mentioned he liked to hang out with his friends. The path took her through a forested area, the trees still dripping from the recent rains but glowing with life in the sunshine. The sound of the ocean grew louder as she approached, and soon she emerged onto the sandy shore.

To her relief, she spotted Embry and Quil sitting on a log near the water, talking and laughing. Embry waved as she approached, his grin as wide as ever.

"Hey, Viv! Enjoying the sunshine?" he called out.

"Definitely," she replied, smiling back. "Mind if I join you?"

"Of course not," Quil said, scooting over to make room for her on the log.

As she sat down, Vivienne took a deep breath, deciding to dive right into what was on her mind. "Embry, I've been thinking about something. Yesterday, I noticed that you, Quil, and that girl I bumped into all have the same tattoo. Is it a Quileute Tribe thing?"

Embry and Quil exchanged a quick glance before Embry nodded. "Yeah, it's a tribal thing, but it's also more than that. It signifies a bond we share—a connection that goes beyond just being friends or family."
