The Initiation

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. Hope you're all enjoying your Thanksgiving! P.S. For the sake of the story, the whole, Oralie being Sophie's mom thing never happened, and Glimmer/Rayni is still in the Neverseen.

"You got what you wanted, I'm re-joining the Neverseen!", Sophie told them enthusiastically.

The two Neverseen members stood there looking shocked and confused. They looked at each other, seeming to be having a telepathic conversation. Finally, they looked up at her and said, "Well then, guess it's time for your initiation."

Sophie took her brother's hand as they leaped to one of the Neverseen bases. When they arrived, Gethen used his DNA (or his blood) to open the entrance to the very well hidden base. He then told her to follow her to a room labeled Initiation. There, he had her say an oath to a little crystal ball that - in Sophie's opinion - looked like a marble. Once the marble looking thing accepted her oath, she had to give it some of her blood. Apparently it was because it needed her DNA to create her file.

Once she had finished, Gethen told her which room she would be staying in. She walked to her room with her new Neverseen things in a crate she had been given. It consisted of two Neverseen cloaks (Incase she lost one or something.), a leaping crystal to the base, and a few weapons and gadgets.

She opened the door to find to girls waiting for her inside. "Hi! I'm Ariella, and this is Glimmer. We're your roomates!", a very excited looking girl told her.

"Hi. I'm Sophie, Sophie Foster.", She responded.

"Oh! We know who you are! Your like, famous! Right Glimmer?", The girl - Ariella - said knowingly.

"Yeah, kind of a big deal around here. I mean, after all, you are the daughter of Ariel and Callend Ondsinn. And they were legends.", The other girl, Glimmer agreed.

"Wait y'all know about that?", Sophie asked them hesitantly.

"Of course! Everyone here knows about it. Your parents are like, the Neverseen's idols. Everyone loved them, and they gave their lives protecting the members of their organization.", Ariella exclaimed.

"Oh, well, now you get to be roommates with their daughter. And wait a minute, is my last name Ondsinn now?", Sophie said, starting a little nervous, but quickly becoming more confused.

"Ummmm........Probably? I don't know, ask Gethen. Also, don't worry, we're not excited to be your roommate just because your an Ondsinn. We actually think we're going to be great friends and we are genuinely excited to get to know you!", Glimmer reassured her.

"Well that's a relief. Do you guys mind helping me unpack my stuff?", Sophie asked, glad they weren't fake friends.

"Of course not, here let us show you your room!", Ariella told her, motioning to herself and Glimmer.

"Thanks Ariella! And Glimmer of course.", Sophie thanked them happily.

"Call me Ari. That's what all of my friends call me!", Ariella told her.

"Oh, okay! Wait, are you saying I'm your friend?", Sophie questioned her hopefully.

"Yeah! Right Glimmer, she's our friend isn't she?", She responded, asking Glimmer to back her up.

"Always. Welcome to the family Sophie.", Glimmer said.

"Thanks guys.", Sophie told them, tears in her eyes.

After that, Ari and Glimmer helped her set up her things and gave her a tour of the rest of the base. Sophie was so excited to have such amazing friends. There wasn't a place in the world she'd rather be right now.
