Hey guys! Hope you're enjoying so far. Also, go check out my other fanfic, The Truth- A Kotlc Fanfiction. Now on with the story!

Sophie didn't know what to think. She just sat there in silence, soaking in the information she had just been given. Could Gethen really be her brother? No, they were just trying to mess with her. Right???

"Soooo......you're really my brother?", She finally asked him.

"Yes, I am. Sophie, I know you probably don't trust us, but we really are family. You're a part of the Neverseen.", Gethen told her.

"Wow really? I don't trust you, what a shocker! Of course I don't trust you, you moron! The Neverseen are an evil group trying to cause harm to the world! I will never join you!", Sophie shouted, standing up from her place on the bench.

"Sophie please. I really miss you...", Gethen said sounding both desperate and sad at the same time. 'Kind of like Keefe', She thought.

"Fine, tell me everything, then I'll decide if I trust you or not. Deal?", Sophie proposed.

"Alright, fine, have it your way. But you're gonna want to sit down for this.", Gethen accepted, motioning towards the bench.

Sophie did as she was told, worried that if she pushed her chances any further, she wouldn't get the information she wanted so badly.

"Okay, so as you now know, I am your biological brother. But I know that that won't satisfy you. You want to know who your biological parents are and I will tell you. Your mother's name was Ariel and your father's name was Callend. You were obviously the younger child, but our parents loved us equally. Mom and Dad were the leaders of the Neverseen, fighting for good. We were a happy family up until the day of the attack", Gethen told her.

"It was just a normal day. Dad had to go on a mission, so Mom took care of us. She brought us to a beautiful clearing surrounded by a huge forest of trees. It was a field filled with flowers, plants, and even cute little critters. The best part was the stunning waterfall with the clearest water you'll ever see, splashings around on the cool rocks at the bottom. Behind the waterfall was a cave where we would go and play. Our mother was a hydrokinetic, so she would part the water for us to go inside.", Gethen said dreamily as if he were thinking of his crush or something.

"Everything was going great, we were having a good time playing with each other while Mom watched us. But out of nowhere, the Black Swan came in. Our mother told us to run to the cave behind the waterfall, and that no matter what happened, to stay there the entire time and not to leave until all of them were gone. We ran as fast as we could, not looking back so we wouldn't stop or slow down. I made it into the cave out of breath, but once I had regained my strength, I looked around and noticed you weren't there. The Black Swan took you, and killed our mother.", Gethen continued angrily.

"I stayed there, waiting for everyone to leave, and when they did, I ran out to Mom's dead body, laying down beside her and crying, wishing it weren't true. When I made it back to the base, they told me you were gone, and that they had killed Dad too. We were in a state of shock, meaning we were vulnerable. The Black Swan snuck into our base, and put a sleeping powder into our food. Once everyone was knocked out cold, they removed our memories, replacing them with fake ones, making us want to hurt you and friends along with the Black Swan. Sophie, I'm so sorry. You and your friends were never supposed to be a part of this.", Gethen finished sounding sincere.

....................... Awkward Silence.......................

"So, how are you telling me all this now? I thought your memories had been erased.", Sophie finally asked him smugly, thinking she had caught their lie.

"At our last battle, one of you said something to trigger them. We knew the Black Swan would get suspicious if we just left the battle without causing any damage, so we had to keep up the act. We never meant to hurt you. We're so, so, sorry Soph.", Gethen answered.

He was telling the truth, she could tell. She had gotten very good at telling if someone was lying or not. "Well then, how can I teleport and do all the weird stuff the Black Swan made me able to do in their "experiments"?", She questioned him.

"That's the worst part. They did actually experiment on you, so it would seem impossible for you to be normal. So you wouldn't find out about the truth.", Gethen replied, sounding hurt about their actions.

"Well then, guess it's time to get my evil on.", Sophie grinned.

"Wait, what?", Gethen and Lady Gisela asked in unison.

"You got what you wanted, I'm re-joining the Neverseen!", Sophie told them enthusiastically.
