The Act

Sophie had been in the Neverseen for about three months now. They hadn't really sent her on any real missions yet, since she was still new to the organization. Honestly though, Sophie was completely fine with that. She had amazing friends and an amazing family in the Neverseen, besides, she had already gotten way more done in three months with them then she ever had with the Black Swan.

Sophie still hadn't revealed her "betrayal" to her friends and family because they just wouldn't get it. I mean, let's be real here, her family isn't even her family anymore. They never were now that she thought about it. She was just hanging around, acting as if everything was normal, as if nothing had changed.

One day, the Black Swan called a meeting. Sophie, and all of her friends gathered in Havenfield's living room. When the Black Swan got there and started to talk, she pressed a button on the back of an earpiece the Neverseen had given her so that it would record the entire conversation. Yes, she had an earpiece. It could turn invisible, so nobody would notice it, it allowed her to contact any Neverseen member, no matter how far away they were, and it could record things and even take pictures that could be sent to the leaders of the Neverseen.

"All right everybody, listen up!", Mr. Forkle announced. Everyone got quiet. "We have reason to believe that the Neverseen are planning another attack, at The Foxfire Opening Ceremonies.", He continued, leaving everybody shocked. Sophie pressed on her earpiece, contacting Gisela. "Are you planning an attack at The Foxfire Opening Ceremonies?", Sophie whispered to her.

"Yes. Now, make sure they don't cancel them and that everybody attends. Also make sure that they don't warn anyone in advance.", Gisela ordered.

"We were wondering if any of you have any ideas on what we should do. So, if you have any suggestions, now is the time.", Blur told them.

"How about we just cancel the ceremonies. I mean, they're not that big of a deal. Or, if you don't want to cancel, we could reschedule them?",  Biana offered.

"Are you ok with them rescheduling it?", Sophie asked Gisela quietly.

"No. If that's what they've decided on, try and change their minds or suggest an alternative.", Gisela replied.

"I don't think we should cancel or reschedule the ceremonies. It would make the Neverseen feel like they're winning, like we're scared or something.", Sophie spoke up.

"That's a good point Ms. Foster. We certainly do not want that.", Mr. Forkle admitted.

"That's Ms. Ondsinn to you", She muttered to herself

"What if we just go in disguise and spy or something? I mean, the Neverseen will never see us then.", Fitz said.

"The Neverseen will never see us?", Keefe joked. "What, no?", He asked looking around the room for someone who thought his joke was funny. (Nobody did)

"I think Fitz's idea is wonderful. We will all go in disguise and spy, notifying each other with our updates.", Wraith praised, making Fitz blush a little.

"Alright, that's all we have for you today. Thank you all for your help and input.", Mr. Forkle said, then held up a beam of light for the collective to step into.

Sophie pressed the button on the back of her earpiece again to stop the recording. Then, she sent it back to the Neverseen, pretty proud of what she had accomplished.

A few minutes later, she heard Glimmer's voice in her ear. "Sophie, can you come over? Ari and I miss u!", She begged.

"Alright, I'll be over in a few minutes. K?", Sophie responded. Then, she told her parents - no, Grady and Edaline - that she was going to Atlantis and leaped to the base.

Once Sophie arrived, Glimmer and Ari tackled her to the ground in a hug. "Hey g -guys, c -can you l -let go of meee?", Sophie managed to weeze out.

"Oh, sorry!", The girls said, releasing her.

"Well, now that you're here, we need to talk.", Ari told her.

"Do you like Ruy???", Glimmer questioned, while Ari read her emotions. And yes, Ari was an Empath.

"Ummm....well.........", Sophie started, uneasily.
