*Previously on Plot Twist* (I know I sound like a TV show or something but whatever)
"YOU JOINED THE NEVERSEEN!?!?!?!?!? HOW COULD YOU!?!?!?!? YOU BETRAYED ME, BETRAYED US!!!!!!!!!!!!!", Fitz exclaimed, referring to the rest of their friend group.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe because THE BLACK SWAN TOOK ME FROM MY FAMILY AND EXPERIMENTED ON AN INNOCENT CHILD!?!?!?", Sophie snapped back.
Fitz gasped, not expecting those words to come out of her mouth. Sophie also gasped, slapping a hand over her mouth as she realised what she had just said. She was sure to be in trouble now.

"Is it true?", Fitz finally asked after about 10 minutes of silence.
"I-huhh.", Sophie sighed.
What do I do? Do I tell him, or make up some cover story? Ugh! Why does life have to be so complicated!?!?, Sophie thought to herself.
All of a sudden, Gethen spoke up, "No, of course not. She's just really angry and tired and looking for someone to blame."
Sophie was amazed at how smoothly her brother could lie. She would have to learn how to do that one day.
Fitz let out a relieved breath and slumped back into the chair he had been provided with. "Are you people ever going to let me out of here?", Fitz asked, pointing to the force field he was still trapped in.
"All in good time little brother, all in good time.", Alvar responded from a few feet away.
"Ugh! Sophie, can you please tell them to let me go? Please?", Fitz begged, turning to look at the blond girl.
"And why would I do that?", Sophie asked him.
"Because I love you. And I'm pretty sure you love me too.", Fitz replied, sounding as sweet as he could.
Hearing those words, Sophie became outraged. She did not love Fitz, she never had and she never would. Her brain had told her she did all those years ago, but she shouldn't have been listening to her brain. She should've been listening to her heart, and her heart was telling her she didn't love him. Not one bit.
"How could I love you after all these years? After how you treated me? No, I don't love you Fitz, I don't even like you. I never have and I never will. End. Of. Story.", Sophie said, steam coming from her ears and nostrils.
"Oh come on, I know we had a fight every once in a while, but was it really that bad?", Fitz asked casually.
"Every once in while!? No, we had fights all the time. I was so stressed out trying to be a good girlfriend, and all you did was get mad at me and yell. I was trying so hard, I lost sight of everything else that was way more important.", Sophie exclaimed.
